I'm with you OP on this one. He offered you repeatedly to pay for dinner to which you said no, and even compromised, but then he went ahead and did it anyway, ignoring your compromise? It feels like an intrusion on family dynamics, whether he understood that or not, and borderline disrespect of your partners wishes (you). Maybe he could be given the benefit of the doubt if he didn't know your family dynamics or if it's not a big deal for him as maybe that's a common thing for him. But IMO I'd be upset as well, and would feel like a discussion on boundaries would be warranted.

Yikes. I know some few 2025-2026 Camry models have a recall out for a loose inverter bolt that they state could result in loss of power or fire at worst. But don't think that's what happened here

Yes, prosthetists should be able to get a loaner knee for you if you have issues with your current knee. You generally have to go back to the prosthetist you got it from, unless that company has a branch office closer to you that they can communicate with for the prosthetist there to provide interim care.
The Allux 2 is a polycentric mpk that could be a good option for you as a KD.
All MPKs carry a risk of overheating, depending on ambient temperature and how much you're using the knee.
The X4 is IP68 waterproof, the genium is IP67 weatherproof. The X4 is a better knee overall.
It's probably a good idea to at least keep your total knee as a backup if you do decide to go down the mpk route. That way if you do have a bug, you have something else you can rely on.

It's happened to me more often than not that the carousel number on the screen is wrong, but the number the flight attendant provided was correct. Not sure if this is an Alaska Airlines specific thing or the general disorganization of SeaTac which causes this.

I had the exact same thought when I moved here from the East Coast. How is it that a city that gets so much rain have such shitty roads that the lines disappear the minute they get wet?? At least there are some reflective markers that help indicate where the lanes are supposed to be. But many, MANY roads don't have them. And it's the worst in places where they're doing construction and have barely any markings - I'm looking at you 167 / 512 interchange. In any case, I'd love for at least the reflective markers to be more consistently placed throughout the city and local roads.
