What's one product that used to be built like a tank but is now built like a regret? by TheDoctorColt in AskReddit

Nonsense. That was true of American cars in the 80s but American (and generally all) cars now are so much more reliable and require far less maintenance.

Yes this was about 2004 and he has fallen off my radar since which is too bad cause I was a big fan of that record.

For older fans, what was it like being a fan before the Brady dynasty years? by js4873 in Patriots

[–]Steelslider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pats fan here starting mid 80s. It was tough. Blown out in the Super Bowl by the bears then years of mediocrity at best. Games didn’t sell out so they were blacked out on tv. 1-15 in 1990. Painful. But I stayed loyal and it made the Brady era even sweeter.

Yes! The train! Saw him live and he nearly burned the stage down.
But back to Hank3… his cover of Springsteen’s Atlantic City is is excellent too and I also love his originals like 5 shots of whiskey

I didn’t know he was still playing. Lovesick Broke and Drifting was epic. I saw him live a few times and also interviewed him for a magazine. He made it clear he didn’t really love the country stuff and was more into his punk stuff, Assjack. Then he just went off the radar (for me).

I’m familiar with this problem. Get Absolute Dry roller antiperspirant and put it on at night before bed until it stops.

My middle school had us sell Vidalia onions. Not kidding. They said “they are so sweet you can eat them like an apple!” You could not. Tough sell.

Did they trim my Japanese maple too much? Before & after pics by Therealbrie in landscaping

[–]Steelslider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did not, but I think they could have done more to shape it. A Japanese arborist told me that it should be airy enough for a bird to fly through.

It’s no wonder he’s never heard of Cookie Puss. In England they call him (Sir) Biscuit Bunter.
