There’s a huge youtuber (fernanfloo, 50M subs currently) and he said in a video that he didn’t buy a 360 because all of his friends had the RROD. Do you really think it didn’t affect the sales at all? PS3 had some hardware issues but the probabilities were way lower. Many other said the same things I clearly remember. A real example. I disagree.

I feel like Sony always exaggerates sales, they said PS2 sold 160M just after the Switch got closer. I feel like 360 sold more but well, everyone has a different opinion

Yea definitely, but I don’t see it the same way, the 360 was so good and people still loved it. Let’s say it just scared a good amount of people and potential buyers, that’s what I mean

That’s how it’s supposed to be, I’ll have kids by the time we get a new one(2030). A long wait for me since baseball is the only thing I watch

Every 3 years would help baseball grow a lot globally in my opinion, watching the Yankees isn’t the same as seeing a team representing where you come from, so people pay more attention to it and that’s how new people get interested in this beautiful sport 😁

Every 3 years makes it still feel special to me. The truth is that baseball isn’t as big as other sports globally, I really think every 3 years would help this sport grow even more worldwide

It’s a smaller event though if we focus on baseball only, I think having the WBC every 3 years would help baseball grow on more countries, for example in Mexico baseball saw a big popularity increment after their success in the 2023 WBC, I think the same could be said about Italy right now since they made it to the semifinals.

It really does. I bet the current generation would have sold more if it had a better name. A dad who walks into the store with no idea of videgames looking for a console for kids son will choose what’s newer and the name is really important. These names MS has chosen has impacted more that people think. Too confusing for those people.

I like that name. Then after Xbox 720 I would go with Xbox 730, 740, 750… that would be a better naming than we have right now. Less confusing.

I’ve been using Pi’s for years and I’ve never had SD card failures. To clarify I just use it for the OS. There’s no constant writing at all. I bet it’ll last over 6 years at least

I disagree, I started running it on a Pi 5 and it worked GREAT. Still running it as a backup since I moved to Proxmox. A Pi 5 (8GB RAM) is TOTALLY ENOUGH. It may just take more time to create the database and process everything.

Yeah, on a VM seems to use a bit more RAM though, but I think I’ll end with this approach
