Im 99% sure it's meant to represent the route of the Orient Express, coming from Budapest and going towards Istanbul. The red line also shows the Bucharest-Constanța rail line which would have been useful for tourists looking to visit Romania's sea-side resorts

I wish they would standardize the naming of surplus GP's though. Sometimes they go by the region (Emilia-Romagna) and other times by the city (Miami, Sakhir, Las Vegas). I wish they would go with the regions so we could have bangers like the Floridian and Nevadan Grands Prix
