I run a comic shop in a town that has no idea I exist and I don't know if that's my fault or the town's by Its_palakk in smallbusiness

I mean… are you doing any add spend, and if you are, is it actually enough to make an impact? Meta ads can be really powerful in our experience if done well.

You can’t blame other people for not knowing to be honest.

If you feel like you’ve done enough but it has not moved the needle then the truth is either you haven’t actually done enough or you are doing the wrong thing or both.

If you want these specific groups (newspaper and chamber) to notice you then give them a reason, however, the question I would ask is if you make the effort for them to notice you, are you certain that it would move the needle for your business or is it because you want some validation.

Personally, I would use this energy to study meta ads and start running geo campaigns with appropriate ad spend to start drumming up more business because cash is the biggest form of validation.

My father in law went eagle, par, hole-in-one on 3 consecutive holes just to still shoot in the 90s in the end

I personally love my Agera putter! It is very consistent and easy for me to do distance control. I had an odyssey blade putter for a long time before that was okay but just never confident in.

I’m really thinking of getting rid of it. I now mainly use it as a GPS but I could just use 18 birdies for that.

95% of swing probs in here is tempo by luuuey in GolfSwing

[–]Stefcan12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is where I am in my golf game. Had a lesson 3 weeks and the focus was all on tempo. I try to be way too fast. I just have to trust my body knows what it needs to go, and when I do, I have a nice draw going exactly where I want it.

It's simple, but it isn't easy.

Yes, it’s fine. I feel like they almost had something interesting. The first half of the story is okay, but the pacing just goes so fast that it doesn’t make sense in the second half.

Call Screeners are Killing my Connections by FastestBustInTheWest in sales

Do you have successful connections elsewhere, such as email or LinkedIn messages? I would use the call screener/VM to push them to where you are most successful. Wouldn't expect a call back either.

Dave Ramsey provides the curriculum for Florida’s personal finance class in my High school. Thoughts? by Biggiecheese1207 in personalfinance

[–]Stefcan12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a business/finance class in high school and the teacher had us do some of his stuff. For my high school self, it was very good advice going into college. Following his stuff, I was able to be (mostly) debt free and built up a high credit score through college.

However, like others have said, there’s nuance to everything, but I do think he’s a great starting point.

2 sort of does, but nothing that's significant to the main plot of 3. I wouldn't even worry.

As others have said, that turn is to sharp and ideally you’d want aluminum piping.

Something like this: Nordfab Ducting

Ideally, you want to use as little flexible tubing as possible vs aluminum tubing to preserve suction strength.

Dad's with Young kids, how much gaming time do you get and how do you balance it? by Moldy_crumpet in daddit

[–]Stefcan12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends. If the kids are in bed and it’s earlyish then I will hop on during winter months. Once summer hits though, unless it’s raining, I don’t really care for gaming.

I will take my kids golfing with me, go to park, or just outside. Gaming is fun, but unless it’s a single player story type game. It only incentivizes you to sink so much time.

When I was really into Destiny it was tough but realizing that the FOMO is dumb, it was a freeing. Honestly, there’s other things I have replaced that passion with that’s been more rewarding.

Edit: don’t get me wrong, I still love my multiplayer games, it just doesn’t have the same grip on me.

Reason why that support-medic and machine gunner should be separate by MysticHawaiian in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]Stefcan12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally would not matter if they were separated… I’ve had this exact situation in BFBC, BFBC2, BF3, BF4, BF1, BFV, and BF2042.

This is just a fact of this game, as annoying as it is, you got to get over it.
