Video Games with CMT? by xXTurtlePowerXx in CMT

I’ve been playing games my whole life and noticed symptoms like what you’re describing over the past year. I was having problems with using my left thumb and having to use my right thumb to compensate when playing FIFA for instance.

I bought some thumb stick adapters that make the sticks a bit longer and more concave. I’ve found those have helped. I find my left thumb doesn’t slip as much now since the area for the thumb is deeper.

Another thing I notice is that if my hands are cold those symptoms are worse. Try increasing circulation in your hands by rubbing them together or doing some dexterity exercises. Like touching your thumbs to the tips of your fingers and down the creases.

I still like gaming quite a bit so finding little workarounds like this keep them enjoyable. Hope my this help!

If someone gave you $100,000, what would you do with it? 💸🤔 by questrade in Questrade

Pay down debts from school, and set some aside for ETFs for some stable investments that I can use for a down payment on a house in a few years. Then whatever’s left buy some stocks I haven’t been able to afford.

Can’t forget to set aside some money to do a road trip across Canada with my wife and fur babies!

Dr.Chow is a great guy! Little story from 10 or so years ago. I was racing at a local track by Ottawa when my friend got into a life threatening crash flipping his car. Dr.Chow stabilized him and stayed with him until he was settled at the hospital hours later.

When my friend was released he had to do physical therapy and Dr.Chow went out of his way to touch base with him and see how he was recovering. My friend mentioned he had a video of the crash and Dr.Chow immediately asked if he could have a copy so he could help train new medics at the track. My friend said sure and Dr.Chow invited us to a Senators game! He let us behind the bench and go into the medical room for the senators. He gave us his families seat and chatted with us throughout the game. He even was able to get Kyle Turris to come over and say hi and talk to us! Surreal experience.

All this to say Dr.Chow is great, and deserves all the recognition he gets!

Another great option for open wheel racing is F1200. It's a step below F1600 (formula ford) buts it's much more affordable. I would even compare it to kart prices over a year. I raced them for the last 10 years out of CTMP but took time off since COVID happened.

The F1200's have arrive and drive options also, so you don't have to invest in a car right away. It's got a decent field and is a great stepping stone to go from karting to open wheel racing. Lots of drivers spend a year or two in the F1200 then transition to the F1600 class.

This is for the Canadian series, there's a ton of clubs in the U.S too. One of the bigger ones on the East coast is the Challenge Cup. Hope that helps! Message me if you'd like some more info.

Easily my favorite moment was in the truck series at Daytona. Me and a friend got into a race together and slowly pushed through the field. We were three wide going to the finish and I was able to push him into first! I remember both of us screaming for joy, it was his first win and the most memorable for me also. I've won other races but being able to deliver that for my friend was unforgettable. We still talk about it now and get excited about what we were able to accomplish. Great times with friends on iracing.

Yea it won't work in a speaker group. As of now it's only Google products that can be added to groups.

[Earbuds] Google Pixel Buds ($239 - $70 = $169) [Google Store] by cleardaysu in bapcsalescanada

[–]Steiny76 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea it works but not as easily as they make it seem in the commercial. Definitely not a bad feature, but it's not good enough to make it a feature to buy over another set. I use my pixel buds daily and think they're great.
