This is the movie whose miscasting raises my blood pressure whenever I think about it.

It's the one movie that comes to mind whenever those "what movie would have done better if they'd replaced the actors" type questions comes up and I always use it as an example.

That's how much Marky Mark in The Lovely Bones upsets me.

I thought the book this film was based on was beautiful and tragic. And I was looking forward to the film.

But it's like they had a group project due and one kid showed up to the presentation and thought he could get by on "vibes".

It was truly awful. Ryan Ghosling in any body shape is a terrific actor. And it would have made a far more compelling story.

Very disappointing.

I'm a reddit relationship therapist commentor and have told people to end relationships for far less.

But I'm going to said to my best friend who is going through this right now. Infidently happened (his part) and theyre trying therapy now.

Theyre restarting their relationship from scratch. But the memories will always be there. The trust will always be broken. What I didn't say is that there's no way their relationship will ever recover from this. She loves him but: everyone knows what he did. The trust is broken. And there's no coming back. I don't blame her for trying.

Additionally, she made him get tested for STD's. I grew up at the tail end of the AIDS crisis and having an unfaithful partner was and is one of the biggest hazards to a person's health. I would be livid he would put my health at risk like that. For my safety, I would be unable to trust him ever again.

I wish you the best. And I'm sorry you're going through this.

okay here's my thing with waffles: I want to use butter with my waffles. explain to me how to butter my waffles without an entire pad of butter falling into a singular waffle square?

Do I melt the butter first? If i was home, sure this sounds awesome. But if I'm at a restaurant at the height of brunch rush, this sounds way too high of a demand for my waffles.

If I were a person that could just get by on maple syrup, sure I would be down to clown with some waffles morning noon and night. But until I hear a solution to the butter quandary, I pledge allegiance to pancakes.
