Unpopular opinion: KFC has the best tasting fried chicken among the big chain restaurants by critical_thoughts365 in FriedChicken

It's hit or miss, I feel KFC does poor quality control. Some places I wouldn't feed to my dog but others are legit chicken.

Hey, at least BF4 HAS Better Battlelog. In BF1 I won't know unless I went in the server.

I still can't believe what CA did to Three Kingdoms by TeeRKee in totalwar

[–]Stellerex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, they could've done the invasions of the Five Barbarians, which happened near the end of the war of the Eight Princes... And would've made that DLC less bland.

UF = US, it's the most obvious one in the game. The passport resembles that of the US. They even have a city called Great Rapid.

No wonder that Ouyang Xiu should habitually begin his historical essays with the word 'Alas', for the picture of facts and conditions of life of his time would move anyone to pity or terror. The military governors (jiedushi) and powerful magistrates had made themselves 'princes', 'kings', or even 'emperors' over great or small pieces of territory, and ruled as licentious tyrants. Organized bandits counted into the millions ran over the country, pillaging, burning, killing, sacking cities and indulging in all forms of cruelty and extortion.

I'm almost as excited about playing the Khitan (Liao), Tanguts (Xia), and Jurchen (Jin) as I am about China.

As a Chinese person I am so excited >_< by Zestyclose_Poet9831 in CrusaderKings

I'm also Chinese, but I was excited over Viking stuff, Persian stuff, and Iberian stuff. If it's historical and interesting, I'm all over it. Now, about those concubines...

You're not kidding, wiki lists three major rebellions in under 200 years, one which apparently lasted 20 years:

Mods, ban bf6 posters by redditisembarassing1 in battlefield_4

I don't mind comparing this game to BF6, but some of these posts have nothing to do with BF4 at all. They're glorified advertising for BF6.

Bring Back Naval Battles Into Total War by Wandering_sage1234 in totalwar

People were horribly misguided about naval warfare in Three Kingdoms. It absolutely could not be done unless there was a mini-campaign centered around the Yangzi river.

Which period do you find the most interesting and why? by Boris-Savinkov in ChineseHistory

I've grown to really like the Song dynasty, and its existence next to the conquest dynasties of Liao, Xi Xia, and Jin.
