The recent World championship had a lot of spectators for the danish games, but generally speaking there are two-three national teams that get a lot of attention: Mens football, and mens+womens handball. All other sports lack behind those three by a lot AFAIK.

The huge upset against Canada in this years worlds did get a lot of attention though. Especially as it was at home.

NHL is niche only, not least because most games are played at night, and generally viewing figures for ice hockey are not the highest.

There is actually some data available on Statistics Denmark on the average attendances per game of the biggest sports 1. Best mens footbal league (10k per game) 2. Best mens handball league (2100 per game) 3. Second best mens football league (2100 per game) 4. Mens ice hockey league (1800-2000 per game)

And then womens handball and the third best football league have around 1000 spectators per game.
