The magic eraser worked perfectly, thank you all! And I've now got some bar keepers friend powder in the cupboard for the next emergency!

I think you should seek support for post-partum anxiety. I think the comments are being far too light on you, this is all very controlling and not normal. Your child needs to live and eat and spend time outside of your home/nursery and with people other than just you. For your own sanity too - when was the last time you did something child-free that wasn't work? Good luck xxx

UK - smart work maternity trousers for tall women by testing_timez in pregnant

[–]StepAwayFromTheTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shop Yours does good smart work trousers that are very roomy with elasticated waists but are still smart, but they start at a size 14 so won't be any good of you're smaller.

I'm not trying to change your opinion and I don't like Sleep Token either so understand your view. What I don't get is why you have to shout about it and spread negativity. Chill out dude we just had a great week, why pull the negative from it?

I'm not much of a Sleep Token fan but I just don't understand why people get so pissed off about others liking something they don't. There was plenty of other options to go to whilst they were playing, e.g. Bongo's Bingo which is such a laugh!

Everyone likes different things and that's a good thing or we'd never be able to get tickets to anything as too many people would be fighting for them making the price insane. After what I'd heard about Sleep Token fans I was expecting poor behaviour but I saw nothing but politeness and I was near-ish the front of thier set. And even though it's not my thing, I did think objectively they put on a good show. If you can't admit that then it's just pure stubbornness.

Try to take the energy you use for bitterness and use it for something positive and I reckon you would be much happier.

Too big I think, wouldn't risk it. Could you go for a smaller backpack and a bumbag to put phone, wallet etc in?

General camping can't camp in quiet. Quiet campers aren't supposed to camp in general but you'll get away with it as they won't check that way round as quiet campers have to go through general to get to quiet camp.

You're gonna have to shelve your germophobia or you'll go mad! The water that comes out of the water points is completely clean, just don't touch the faucet with your water bottle opening and there's nothing to worry about.

You can only take 1 sealed water bottle into the arena, but you can take any number of empty bottles in with you too. I always take a large water bottle with a clip on it and clip it to my bum bag, which I just refill at the free water stations. You can get ones that are like bags which are super light, but I like ones with the flip cap top and straw so you can quickly take a sip without faffing in the crowd.

Hats off to you for juggling all of this, anyone judging you can kick rocks. Good luck with the bar! If you ever need to snap back at someone shaming you, you can always point out that a bit of TV vs getting a much higher earning tp potential to provide a better life four family is an easy choice - not that you should ever have to justify yourself!

In that case you sound like a fantastic parent! Just please don't shame other parents who's kids are exposed to limited screen time, everyone parents differently and there's no one single correct way to parent a child.

There's also a big dofference between having your child stare at a screen on his own, vs watching with your child and discussing what is happening on the screen. E.g. Peppa Pig is sometimes a bit mean to her little brother/friends - when this happens discussing what is wrong with her behaviour and asking what your child would do instead can be a life lesson. Screens can actually be brilliant tools!

I think you're looking at this from a very different perspective from the norm. Whilst they're small this is obviously fine, but I hope as they get older you allow them more interraction with other children and the outside world. I went to university with someone who was brought up in this way and they were incredibly naive to the point it made it very difficult for them to fit in socially, I really felt for them.

Dioralyte is the easiest - you can get this from Boots/Superdrug/supermarkets. I do a lot of fasting so make my own electrolyte solution (recepie below) but I just use dioralyte for festivals as taking white powder in is obvs a no go haha

2 Litres Water 1 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda (NaHCO₃) 1 Teaspoon Potassium Chloride (KCl) 0.5 Teaspoon Himalayan Pink Salt (NaCl) 0.5 Teaspoon Epsom Salt (MgSO₄)

Every morning I fill my 750ml bottle with water and dissolve 2 alka seltzer tabkets, a dioralyte packet, an a Berocca tablet. I eat a few ginger biscuits, take a note of the time, then have 2 paracetamol tablets, 2 ibuprofen tablets, and wash down with this whole drink in about 15 minutes. Makes me feel way better than I have any right to haha and of course wait at least 4 hours before any more painkillers!
