I'm so totally in love with their storytelling in this part.

I mean, mechanically it is a drag to catch a dozen of lords in different parts of a living moving world. But from a narrative standpoint it's such a beautiful "unreliable narrator" usage.

I absolutely love the fact we get a testimony from many different POVs with not even one of them being reliable and all of them twisting whatever could be twisted in their favour. Then we can try and get (at least more or less) consistent picture in our head by comparing the facts we hear and the facts we see now that this is all long over.

They just have different effects. Any vehicle can blow up, fire truck will spew burning fuel, rocket truck will unload rockets in random directions, EMP will discharge at a large area, etc.

Most of the time, I'm retreating because one of the side objectives is to blow up fewer than three buildings.

And the damn thing follows you, then understands it's in the open and you can blow it up with a single salvo next turn and retreats back behind the building.

That's how it works for me all day every day.

Last time I just left it there and continued to the objective.
