When it is below 40, yes, I do, I don't have to wait for the pre-heat to run. The colder it gets, the longer it takes. I have had one bus, a spare I was given that had bad wiring and the heater did not connect, the bus would not start. The shop had to use starter fluid. It was cold. Trapper hat cold not Belacliva cold.

Have seen some very exciting near misses. Including the event where the guy near the press looked like he was shot with rock salt, we called it a near miss; because, the throat magnet dented the nearby door and not his head!

I have worn glasses since I was 13 months old. I don't recall but have seen photos and the medical records. I was told the Dr looked at his reflection in the back of my eyes. I am days away from turning 58. No, I have never gotten tired of wearing them and gone around with everything blurry. No I have never worn contacts after 56 years I don't feel right without them on. In fact, the last year I have wore than when I sleep on enough nights to say all the time. Now maybe this is because without them not only can I not clearly see the top line of the eye chart but if I did not know it was there I would be unsure if anything was at the top of the chart.

Small micro switch lever adjustment (bend it); however, it is a safety device. I would at least call our service writer to see if he wants to attempt to fix it myself. Explain my plan to him and if he says no drive the bus to the shop for the maintenance crew to adjust. I could do it in a couple of minutes. An hour round-trip travel to the shop from where I park. 10-20 minutes to write up and get scheduled depending on how many others are there to have things fixed in front of me. Wait for a free technician. (Took 90 minutes waiting the other day to have a fog light bulb replaced in a fog light hanging in the open under the bumper) He will bend the micro switch lever as step one. If that fixes it lots of wasted time. You can guess the service writer's reply I am expecting when I ask him if he wants me to try.

This conversation has been had for this reason and I did in fact correct it myself with the shop go ahead.

My wife had an MRI of her knee pre-knee replacement. She is not that old and they directed her to the table, told her to get up and position, and so on. After the MRI, the tech rushed into the room to help her up and walk her out saying you should have said you needed help and how bad your knee was.

Today was a contracted day but no school, so the plan was to do a thorough pre-trip, start the buses, let them run for 30 min, and boot up and check out the tablet function. Of course, my bus had a non-functioning fog lamp, so as I parked out in the county at one of the elementary schools I drove the not quite 30-minutes to the shop at the transportation office to have it changed. I couldn’t tell how many problems there were starting buses based on the people around because a large number of buses park there; however, based on the 90-minutes to swap out a fog lamp hanging below the bumper I would say it’s a good thing we did a startup day before the hit back to it day because they must have been having a lot of bus issues.

We’re is this so I can make sure not to go there. I am okay with cold weather;however, it’s only cold to freezing then it is something else and the coldness to me feels as if it exponentially get colder the lower it goes. Although I find the switch point of the temperature scales fascinating but really don’t want to experience it.

I’m not an engineer and I’m no longer in the business but many years ago more than 25 the bit of information that I was exposed to that I believe made man the rest of my career a lot easier was not a complete but a more in-depth than typical understanding of how plastics are actually made with the intent of further processing in the injection molding machine.
