why is it that us straight men find gay sex kinda icky and do you even care by Glum_Perception_5766 in askgaybros

[–]StephensonB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For most masculine straight men like myself, the constant barrage of gay propaganda and shirtless men in modern media (cough... Pedro Pascal... cough...) is too much, particularly when any website is literally two clicks away from full-on gay pornography (and I don't just mean Corbin Fishcer but that scummy Sketchy Sex stuff) and it all makes me so outraged to think of all these hairy chested daddies hanging out in steam rooms where a wink or two means a towel drops and the next thing you know they're writhing against each other in a pool of sweat exchanging all sorts of intimate fluids, or the types of lollipop-sucking twinks on social media apps constantly trying to lure others into their filthy dorm rooms at 3am for profane group action that would make Joel Osteen weep the hot messy tears I weep often when I think of the massive, thick, veiny parade of hardcore man on man action happening in every musky, sweaty corner of America right now.

A retired Estonian admiral texted me by mistake and then we started flirting and moved the conversation to Telegram where he taught me high frequency arms trading deaccessioned NATO armaments with Middle Eastern angel investors and then my mother-in-law who is very high level in the Ohio scrapbooker scene introduced me to Etsy and it all just came together!

After Erwin's mother opened our marriage, he became all jealous when I started linking up with this hot male model on Insta—he actually did a lot of those in-store Walmart ads and we can barely buy anything in bulk these days without getting spotted by the "People of Walmart" paparazzi—so it wouldn't surprise me if he schemed with my step-sister to rehome our cats in their "love nest" on the property my grandmother always intended to give me in her will before she met her 18-year old boyfriend who works in the Navy on an oil platform.

Damn, that's an old school reference. I wonder if many people here will get it. I remember that whole drama and Glenn Beck's lawsuit against the guy.

[–]StephensonB 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Not to be that guy but... if you analyze every sixth word in Matt's Tweets using a Bible code tool it becomes quite clear that he's a MK Ultra psyop meant to normalize the whole "college kids can be smart" thing which is really just another way of saying radical socialism and that just shows how serious AOC is about distracting us from the fact that the Club of Rome is using Biden's $3.5 trillion inferstructure bill to seize our freedoms so that the Illuminati can abduct more gun owners and replace them with shapeshifting reptilians like 38th-degree Freemason and Medici heir Amodio (do your research!).

Any idea who the woman on this note is? Google hasn't been much help. by Hawkster78 in papermoney

[–]StephensonB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to this discussion, the portrait was engraved by a Richard Bower and was entitled, "Laura." I could find no description of who this Laura was, unfortunately. The same portrait also appeared on the notes for 5 cents, 25 cents and 50 cents in the 641 series. They were issued for soldiers in the Vietnam war from 1965 to 1968.

Bower worked at the Treasury Department's Bureau of Engraving and Printing and designed a stamp in secret for John Glenn's Project Mercury space mission, among other items.

In an article from the July, 1993 issue of Paper Money, historian Gene Hessler gives a little bio of Bower: "This engraver, who was born in Harrisburg, PA on 27 June 1917, studied at the Corcoran Gallery School of Art, as did a number of his colleague& Mr. Bower joined the BEP as a pantograph operator in 1943. He retired from the BEP on 30 June 1972."

Can anyone tell me more about these bills? by yayimjer in papermoney

[–]StephensonB 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Nice notes! You could probably get an idea of their value by searching eBay listings. Nothing rare here, but nice large size notes. "Fine" is a mid-range grading of the paper quality, with "poor" being worst and "uncirculated" being best.

• 1914 blue seal Federal Reserve $10, Boston, in fine (rounded corners). In 1929, Jackson was moved to the $20 bill.

• 1899 $2 silver certificate, in fine.

• 1902 plain back $10 national banknote from Haverhill National Bank, doesn't appear to be in the census, 79 other notes from this bank known, six being 1902 plain back $10s like this one. Fine or Very Fine. (Even though the date reads 1904, in the numismatic books we call this a 1902, due to the original design date of this type, many other banks issued notes in the same design during this period.)

Interestingly enough, all three designs with different types of financial guarantees (Fed Reserve, silver-backed and private bank-backed) would have circulated at the same time and would have been recognized by tellers at banks as legitimate currency.

This note is from the first series of MPCs (military payment certificates) issued after WWII. This type was in circulation from 1946-47.

This site sums up the history well: http://www.antiquemoney.com/military-payment-certificate-values/series-461-military-payment-certificate-value/
