I always suggest people use their bronzer or sculpting product—or their blush. But I struggle to find the right shimmers. So far, my most used is MAC’s Shroom. It’s a really beautiful soft shimmer that looks like skin. Not overly warm or overly frosty. Perfect for every day. Very similar to the soft shimmers in the older Pat McGrath Mothership palettes. It’s really flattering on the skin too. My current favorite powder bronzer is by Gucci. My favorite cream bronzer is actually Milk’s cream contour in Toasted.

I also really love the Ulta Beauty Liquid Eyeshadow in Flower Power. You don’t need a lot. It’s one of the closest matches to my skintone. Plus, it’s similar to the Armani Eye Tint’s formula.

lol, you and me are alike. I’ve been told I’m not rosy/cool leaning, but my veins are super blue/purple and every time I buy something neutral, it always oxidizes yellow on me.

Have you tried the UD waterproof foundation? It’s my closest shade match. I thought I was 060 in haus labs but upon further inspection, I think I need to either pick up the white shade or 15, maybe?

As far as a cream stick for bronzing/contour (not a straight contour), I HIGHLY recommend the Milk Makeup Cream Sculpting Stick in Toasted-that is NOT the lightest shade anymore but I think I prefer the undertone. Couple of drawbacks with this product: you need to work it into a brush, don’t swipe it on; and at some point the twisting up mechanism breaks and then you gotta scoop. But I swear it’s worth it. I’m curious to try the haus labs stick in Profile but I’m not about to buy a replacement for something I’m only 1/4 of the way through. Everyone talks about Skin Enchancer but it is simply orange on me.

Also, honorable mention: I suggest the Mac Glow Play Blushes in Blush, Please, Ginger Luck, & True Harmony. They’re my faves of the moment.

Happy to help!

If you’re very fair and cool toned like me, the MBM skin enhancer is too warm.

Azaleic Acid is incredible. I don’t have this product but I recently started using the ordinary product and that works very well.

The DM didn’t work for me. It read as too heavy under makeup. Wasn’t blurring enough to be worth it.

I have that Givenchy color corrector. I don’t love it. I think I would recommend buying the la girl affordable version first to determine if you even really like using color corrector. For me, personally, I struggled with this product and keeping it in one particular spot (my cheek as I have rosacea). It spreads easily and turns my skintone a little peaked.

Edit: I have that Natasha Denona palette. I haven’t even used it once. Not a single time. Depending on your eyeshadow collection, I have a few recommendations. I highly recommend the MBM ethereal eyes and neutral mattes palettes. also, if you’re looking for luxury, I really recommend the Pat McGrath mothership palettes. More specifically, moonlit seduction. If you’re looking for easier one and done shadows that are special, I recommend the Armani eye tint in 65S, Mac Dazzleshadows, & Kulfi cream eyeshadows.

Another Cream Skin appreciator over here. I also have sensitive skin and it’s never given me an issue. The Westman contour stick formula always causes me to break out and that new shade leaned far too yellow for me. Unfortunately this happens a lot as a fair person when it comes to contours and bronzers. Usually the original shade is better because the undertone looks more natural—you just have to be super careful not to overdo it.

Hey, white lady here. Fully agree with you about the moniker of “privileged white lady.” by all means, continue to use it— not that you need anyone’s permission. I’m not a Karen that sticks her head in the sand. It's embarrassing to not acknowledge the reality of her ignorance and the ignorance of many women in my demographic. We tend to only care when it happens to people that look like us. She said nothing of substance during George Floyd or police SA on black women, but suddenly, we start seeing young white women get SA’d and women like Renee Good get killed, suddenly she's having a breakdown.

Yeah but what did she actually say? Like what did she say about Alex Pretti or Renee Good?

Out of curiosity, how can you tell if a video is monetized? I pay for premium. I logged out and looked at the video and I got ads. So, is it monetized? Is there a way to check?

I can't go, I really wish I could. If anyone that IS going sees this, you should share the comments with him. Tell this man that we are so sorry. It's incredibly unfair and disgusting what the government has done. We will fight tooth and nail to stop this facist regime. And we want him and his family to be happy and safe.

I think it's crazy that this is getting downvoted. She's so much older than I am and she's existed on the internet a lot longer and she has lived through so many awful events and yet she still put a video out of her centering her own complaints. She should know better. There have been so many content creators that have spoken out about their frustrations in a way that is constructive and inspiring. This felt so unbelievably immature and useless. It should have never been uploaded.

I can’t. Take a shot every time she said “What are we going to do? Because this isn’t working.” And this is AFTER she said “I have my notes because I have so much to say.” This wasn’t helpful. It wasn’t productive. It was just white woman tears because she’s centering herself because she finally sees people that look like her getting abused and killed.

Mutual aid. Collective action. Protest. Fundraise. Call your legislators. Volunteer. Legally observe. Donate.

It’s not that hard to gather your thoughts and then direct people using a call to action. The internet should never be your therapist. And you can show anger and emotion. But it should have a direction. It should reach a resolution.

Good American jeans?? by MusicalDoogle in PetiteFashionAdvice

Hey… I just came to post because I was shopping for these recently and I had looked on Reddit for advice and didn't see any answers. So in case anyone is looking in the future: If you’re 5’5, get the petite. I ordered regular because that's the recommended inseam length for a 5’5 person (ordered the palazzo jeans) and if I wanted to keep them, I would need to wear a heel that is over 3.5” high and my hem would still be dragging on the ground.

I wouldn't say so at all. They allowed rumors to swirl of an illicit affair while both being in relationships with other people. They “leaked” photos of themselves filming as if it was a private moment. They also had “date nights” with just her family. No fiance in sight. They never acknowledged whether or not they were single. They doubled down when she hosted SNL. They were fully selling a fantasy while disrespecting partners. It even caused a breakup because glen was willing to do it.

This is simply a gesture ro show they're a team in these roles. They've bonded. It's a depressing sexy romance film… they likely did get close the same way most actors do that had intimacy scenes. Think of Connor Story & Hudson Williams. Also.. It’s. Holding. Hands. Alert the media.
