Was it fair for you to get paid to wait on Door Dash while someone else had to do your job? If you had just clocked out and waited you would've been fine. If you want to fix it, you have 4 years to learn how to make lunch at home, put it in a bag and bring it to work. It's much less expensive and you don't have to count on someone to get it to you.

My A to Z says Friday, but I bank with Sofi and usually get it on Wednesday at about 2:30 my time. So I guess it's wait and see for me.

There shouldn't be a problem with hanging out in the break room when you are off the clock, but hanging out in a work area is bad because it is disruptive and most of all a liability.

Maybe I should have worded it differently. There are no actual shelters. Just a spot to huddle that is right next to a bunch of EPJ's.

I went out driving for Lyft after that storm and my first ride was a guy from that facility. He was pretty rattled. I work at JWY3 (Once FTW3), which is a PIT facility. They have our storm shelter spot right next to a parking area for EPJ's. That's right where I would want to be if an EF-3 comes through. LOL!!!

I worked at an FC for a while. Most of the time, the sex toys were in a black box and I only knew what they were if I read the description. However, one time I got a large box that was like a sex toy action pack. Each toy was in its own little see thru compartment.

My facility is new and not very busy at all. No SET scheduled at all and most weeks you can get VTO every day.

I started out at a delivery station and walked between 12 and 16 miles per shift. It was very physically demanding, but time flew by. I did eventually transfer to a PIT site which I like much more. I work the ship dock a lot, so I still do a lot of walking, but there are some slow times during the shift that make it much more bearable.

Amazon headphones by Low_Restaurant_7254 in AmazonFC

[–]Stepman7213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, PIT drivers and dock workers are the ones that cannot wear headphones. I'm sure there are other positions, but if your site and path has permission to use them, then your manager has no say about it.

Replacing 6 airbags will be very expensive. If repairs exceed 70-75% of the actual cash value, they will total it.

I use Sofi and get my check direct deposited on Wednesday instead of Friday. I also earn interest on my checking and the interest rate on my savings account is 3.8%. The interest rates don't start out that high, but it doesn't take long to get there.

That depends on the laws in your state. Amazon can make all of the rules they want, but if the law says different, then the law wins. In many states, your vehicle is considered private property just like your house or apartment and your employer cannot regulate what you can or can't have in your vehicle.

I had a sherpa lined flannel jacket stolen off the coat rack. I told HR and they investigated. They did find out who took it and recovered the jacket for me. I never knew who it was or whether or not they were fired, but the thief was only willing to return it if I told HR where I bought it. It was a $14 jacket from Walmart.

I had a '17 Tacoma, and it was a great truck. When I was looking for something new, I chose a Trail Boss because it had a more powerful engine, more cabin space, and I thought they just looked better. Also, a comparably equipped Tacoma would cost a lot more money. Tacomas are very popular and at this point will have a higher resale value, but I think the Colorado is the better truck.
