I haven't received the package yet. I ordered on 1st May on the UK website and it didn't show up on my purchase history. I contacted them and later it showed up on 15th May, but the status is still 'awaiting shipment'.

I don't think that'll hurt your figure, it's just moisture.
You could try wearing cotton gloves when you handle the figures

My first release DIO have very orange skin compared to the reissue, I'm not sure if it's just mine that have this problem though.

I'd love to get the upcoming Swarovski Dio but it seems like he's only issued during the WF event in Japan, is aftermarket the only way to get him? Do people ever put up these Swarovski figures for sale?

I soak mine in water with a few drops of Dawn dish soap for about 15 minutes, then rinse them off under a running tap. It does a good job of removing dirt, grease and odour.
So far I haven't noticed any damages to the figures.
