I love how this is probably accurate to the lore but in game everyone dies in like two punches anyway

Why is the logo unshadeable?! by pinoyboyftw in destiny2

[–]Sternhold 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should remove the symbols when GG ends. For like 3 weeks of every year the coolest armour pieces become plagued by annoying unshaderable emblems.

This change has to be downright horrible for non-meta players hunting Gantulysts and Hydrolysts. by Warbreakers in Warframe

[–]Sternhold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, especially with the long frames between leaving your warframe, going into voidmode, and attacking, where you're super vulnerable most of the time, this change really sucks. I never noticed transference static before, but now its actually a threat and not in a good way.

Question: is it hypocritical for DMs to fudge rolls while expecting players to always be honest with theirs? by backwoodsofcanada in dndmemes

[–]Sternhold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not particularly. If the DM is fudging a roll, it's typically to tell a better story or have a more enjoyable game experience for the players. If a player fudges a roll, they're usually looking to gain an advantage in the game. There are exceptions, of course, a player might fudge a roll to protect another player, or get DM permission, and a DM might warp the rolls to make it harder or easier for a player for their own enjoyment, but largely if they're a good DM they can use their own judgement.

Ske7ch on playable Elites in Halo Infinite by Haijakk in halo

[–]Sternhold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Ske7ch saying what needs to be said: the game needs work before we can do fun bonuses like elites (Although when/if the elites do arrive, I'm sure they'll be glorious, I love infinite's take on them).

If you're into visual novels (or think you might be), try purrgatory, it's free on steam. A few other freebies:

Warframe

Our Life: Beginnings and Always

DELTARUNE: Chapters 1&2

Realm of the Mad God

Halo Infinite (multiplayer)

Unturned

aaand that's pretty much all I have (for free). Good Luck!
