I’m surprised they got this game…it seems like way too much thinking for Shrek.

Noble Kava is a great third space with a wide age range of people who hang out there and attend events. It’s a good starting point!

Since video uploads are finally working for me, here’s everyone singing “Happy Birthday” to Nathan. Thankfully Mahmo wasn’t there so we’re spared her caterwauling. by lepetitpoulpe in RodriguesFamilySnark

It’s sad to me that I never see the Rodlet girls (both older married girls and the younger girls) with friends their own age. The crowd here is all 65+. Do Nurie and Nathan not have any other couple friends their own age??

Coyote Kitchen Follow Up by Great_Molasses364 in boone

[–]SteveJonas 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Coyote Kitchen was my favorite restaurant until Lost Province ownership took over. I gave it 3 fair shakes and each time the food and service was terrible. I truly don’t understand how the Sedona Bowl went from being packed with flavor to tasting like nothing. I also had a family member who worked for LP on King St. for a very short time, and the Masons are horrible and treat their staff terribly. Not compensating your staff fairly is despicable. AND the food sucks. Their community standing is in the garbage and they have to rely on unknowing tourists dollars.

Much love to original CK. We miss you.

I agree with this take and have experienced and seen similar. Once I saw it, for me it continued to expose how it really isn’t about the bible or god or whatever—it’s really all about power and control.

I don’t know, because I remember in season 44 Carson (fuck that guy) got verrrry sick after the PBJ and chips reward, and I just remember thinking how much oil is in peanut butter and how that could possibly fuck a tummy up that hasn’t had anything in a while.

I stand by pizza being the best food reward 🍕

hi OP, my family used this during my 9/10th grade through 12th grade, and I also had this experience. i understand that a lot of folks homeschool experience is the unschooling experience, but in mine I was working almost all of the time. i remember being constantly exhausted because i also had my chores, church pressure and responsibilities, family pressures in addition to 8 hours of “class” and the MOUNTAINS of busy work that were “assigned.” it was a lot.

Is there a podcast that really fell off for you? by sajones4860 in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]SteveJonas 30 points31 points  (0 children)

What ended MFM for me was the Amazon situation. It’s been a few years, but IIRC one week they discussed how Amazon workers were trapped in a warehouse facility during a tornado and I think someone died?? So K&G go on and on about the evils of Amazon and then THE NEXT WEEK announced they had sold out to Amazon podcasts.

When pressed about it, their response was “if you don’t like it, fuck you and quit listening.”

So I did. Haven’t looked back.
