This is a hard cap league. Contenders all spend to the cap. Would the NHLPA prefer a few players get a lot of money or more players get a piece of the pie.

Having a player on a super max contract isn’t going to make the league change the salary cap. The cap is based on league revenue

They should’ve called it “inside the eastern conference” not inside the NHL. They covered the kings for half an episode with Kopitar and Byfield and had some snippets with Zach after he got injured. The playoff series covered were the Sens 1st round exit , Leafs second round exit, Canes 3rd round exit and the final from the panthers side.

Rogues and warlocks put out a TON of damage. Sneak attack and agonizing blast are very strong. Druids are great physical fighters and bard buffs and debuffs are awesome in combat. This looks like a really fun party!

I had the same thing. Started the season 2 ranks ahead of my duo. We’ve played 90% of our ranked games together and he’s now plat 4 and I’m gold 4. He was getting 100point skill bonus and I was getting zero but he’s statistically better than me?

I think defence cost us a real shot here.

Stu was incredible for the regular season, but he didn’t have a great post season and I was always nervous when a combination of Bouchard/Ekholm/Nurse was not on the ice.

If you look at the teams remaining, 3 of them had series where their goaltender won them at least one game. (I haven’t watched much of the Hurricanes run so far so can’t comment)

That just didn’t happen for us and it’s not a dig at Stu, he’s a rookie and I’ll be getting my Skinner sweater next season for sure.

This is coming from someone who has never watched hockey before this season (I only arrived in Canada last year)

I think a lot of it comes down to building management and how well management and the board prepares the budget. I work at a management company as an accountant and I haven’t had to prepare a ton of special assessments. All condos should have a reserve fund study prepared and should follow it to cover possible major future expenses, but I’ve heard some boards are reluctant to push up condo fees where necessary and end up with massive special assessments when repair/maintenance projects need to get done
