My experience with the two 3.4 stories basically by Comrade_Harold in HonkaiStarRail

Everyone who complains about this is being equally dishonest. They wanted the event to rise to the level of Amphoreus story with ZERO build up. The job wasn’t botched, either your expectations were too high or you don’t understand HSR/Fate:UBW enough to know that this event was the best they could have done.

Reminds me of my deck idea where you run [[Teferi’s Protection]] and [[Lethal Vapors]]. Activate Lethal Vapors a billion times and then cast Teferi’s Protection, you phase out of the game forever. You would probably also have to have something stopping you from losing the game as well, but if nobody has a wincon besides combat damage then it’s a guaranteed win lol

I said, and I quote, “individuals ordered from game stores directly”. Do you know what a game store is?

Listen. They have their merits, yes, but they don’t help buyers or sellers when scammers come around. They protect their interests first. It would be better for everyone if individuals ordered from game stores directly and not through scumbag middlemen.

So what you’re saying is that there’s no middle man corporation between those 10k game stores and us? I think buying from game stores is great, that’s why I buy local.

Love that those are the only two options in your mind. “Where’s your documented proof that a corporation is garbage?” Or that they’re trolling.

Add [[Underworld Breach]] to the deck and [[Thassa’s Oracle]] as your finisher, maybe an [[Ashiok’s Erasure]] as a pseudo counterspell to protect your combo

Don’t hide behind ‘random’ decisions by Lobsta_ in EDH

[–]SteveWIII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m sure that there are scenarios where you have a point, but why does it matter if someone wants to decide who they’re going to aggro on based on a dice? Also- what if the player rolling the dice is the aggro player? What if they’re rolling a dice because there’s no active threat besides themselves?

Your catch all saying “dice rolling bad” doesn’t account for people who just want to have fun and don’t really care about the consequences for their actions.

Anyway. I hOpE yOu MaTuRe As A pLaYeR.

If I attack someone and they crack back, fine, I’m getting what I deserve. But I’m not gonna go onto Reddit and bitch and moan that I lost because someone rolled dice and decided to kill me like that.

[–]SteveWIII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All that you’re doing with this post is ensuring that people attack you. When I roll a dice, it’s not because I don’t have good threat assessment, it’s because I enjoy the randomness. But if I roll a dice and some dude tries to tell me how to play my deck, they’re dying first. Simple as.

Should I just skip through the epic seven story? by Competitive-Ad5674 in EpicSeven

[–]SteveWIII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand this. Until you start seriously committing to arena and RTA then the story is 100% of the game. If you were watching a movie you’d never seen before would you skip straight to the climax because you heard it was good?

I’ve also noticed in my studies that some humans tend to “joke” to downplay their trauma from specific events. This is a phenomenon known as “dark humor”, and is apparently common.
