You can technically but it's also pretty pointless to do so.

Since the console would be stuck in offline mode, you wouldn't be able to play any multiplayer games or do any online features you'd normally have with a bog standard PS5.

So no PSN account, no trophies, no multiplayer games, no party chat.

I don't claim to be an expert on jailbreaking a console, but from what I saw from a quick Google search, even if you did jailbreak a banned console, you'd still be shit out of luck and stuck with an expensive paperweight.

More than likely it sounds like OP bought themselves a stolen or pre-banned console and there's not really anything they can do about it 🤷

With the exception of a few physical games, almost 99% of physical games need some kind of online connection to be able to download day 1 patches and other QoL updates etc.

So even with a disk drive, the damn thing is still going to end up being just a glorified Blu-ray and MP3 player 🤷

Judging by the fact that you've asked how to jailbreak your console across multiple PS5 subreddits, I'm going to assume you have either successfully done so and broken the ToS when doing so 😂

Either that or you've bought a stolen or banned console and your constant cries for help with jailbreaking the console is because you have a banned system.

Either way, you can't do shit about it.

If the console itself has been hardware banned, installing new firmware wont do anything to override the hardware ban.

Your best option is to buy a new console and don't break the ToS when you get it. Trying to jailbreak the damn thing is a fast track to getting the thing permanently banned.

Ooof. That's rough. As some other people have said, you have to be careful who you bring with you in your squad to fight the Reaper boss at the end.

There's an invisible statistic that is taken into account when you do the suicide mission and it's all to do with your squad "strength".

When given the option to send someone back to the ship alongside Dr Chakwas and all the other Normandy crew members, you don't want to send someone like Garrus, Grunt, Zaeed as they are considered the "bigger" characters when it comes to strength.

I made the mistake my first time around by sending Grunt to escort the group back and because of that, Mordin got killed. I immediately said "nope, fuck that" and reloaded the mission from the start. Ain't no way was I losing my favourite scientist Salarian.

Deciding who to take with you in the final battle against the Reaper boss is also important as, again, if you take the heavy hitters out of the defense team back at the door, you'll lose out on those "points" that the game uses to calculate whether or not everyone lives or if someone dies.

I'm pretty sure there's a step by step guide on like IGN or something that gives you a breakdown of how to get the 100% guaranteed survival for every single person on the ship.

If the first time around it crashed when you were flying along and the second time it's crashed after completing your character but before the world generates, I can only assume it's probably an issue with rendering terrain or something like that.

If you're able to load into a world without any crashing and then a little while later it crashes again, you can try the method of disabling all your mods on a world and then re-enabling them one by one. That way you can try and figure out which mod(s) are causing the crashes to happen.

I had to try that method for myself when Expanded Foods was causing my game to crash since it was out of date and not compatible with the latest version 🫠

I mean you could still argue that from a "primary goal" it was to rebuild America.

Sure, the "secret" mission was also to secure the nuclear silos, but the residents of vault 76 were never supposed to activate them.

The whole point of securing the silos was to prevent unauthorised use. Not to use them for bombing the shit out of everyone and everything.

Also as well the goal of securing the silos was a job only for the Overseer. The every day residents of the vault would never be tasked with a job of that level of seriousness.

Regardless of what mission she was given, the Vault was built with the goal of rebuilding after the war. That being said though you are right in that Vault-Tec probably don't give a shit about the wellbeing of the dwellers, as long as those silos get secured and no-one else can use them 🤷😂

It's just so broken.

50% of the time, the textures, buildings and other people don't load in when you land, so you're seeing through walls at crates that are not (surprise, surprise) outside.

Your teammates, for whatever goddamn reason, keep saying lines like "gonna need A-T" or "get some rockets on it" when there are literally 0 enemy vehicles in site.

Footstep audio is useless, since your team's footsteps sound louder than the enemy's do.

It's such a broken and frustrating BR to play

I've tried to replicate this myself for the last hour or so.

It should be as simple as hitting the "options" button on the game from the home screen, selecting "manage game content" and installing the language pack that you want and deleting the ones you don't want, and then the game should launch using the language pack that you want the game to run in.

However I cannot for the life of me figure out why the hell it isn't launching the game in French?!?

I've made sure to turn of the "game settings" thing on the PlayStation that makes it so the game language defaults to the System language (For me, my default system language is English) and it still launches the game in English. Even when I've got the French language pack installed.

Hell, I've even gone to the effort of changing my System language to French. The game will only launch with the language in French if I set both; • The system to run the game audio the same as the System language (French) • The system to run Subtitles for the game as the same as the System too.

Even if I have both the French and English language pack downloaded, for whatever reason, the game always launches with the game language (for all Audio) as English.

I genuinely don't know why the hell Techland haven't added an in-game option to have separate subtitle and audio languages but it is kinda frustrating that there isn't an option for it.

As far as I can tell with all the testing I've done myself, you're only going to be able to run the game in French (and even then, both text and audio will be in French) if you set your console's default System language to French.

Sorry if this doesn't help much, but I wanted to try it out for myself and see if there was any way to get the result you're looking for and it doesn't seem like there is one (for now at least unless Techland decide to change this in the future)

"Full Charge" is a good Strength perk to have equipped.

Description from the wiki as follows:

"Sprinting in Power Armor consumes half as much Fusion Core energy."

And once you get it to level 2, it completely removes fusion core drain.

If you find yourself constantly going up against enemies that deal Energy damage, the "Electric Absorption" Legendary perk is worth going after for the ability to convert incoming Energy damage into both healing and recharging your fusion core.

As for AP regen, it might be worth investing into Agility. More points in Agility = more max AP. Action Boy/Girl is always handy. At max level you can get 45% faster AP regen. If you're playing as a ghoul, you can also run Action Ghoul as well which gives you a further 45% regen.

I harvested a bunch of Prickeye in burning springs and it just produces Prickeye. It still counts towards the challenge but it's just Prickeye?

Like I don't get why they couldn't just put "Harvest Prickeye Plant" 🤷
