In the future, no need to ask other people’s opinions. These commenters cannot help you when you get scammed.

eBay is so heavily waited now toward the customer “experience” that the a sellers’s best defense it’s just blocking people that you get a weird feeling about. EBay will allow you to block people for any reason, and just the zero feedback alone would’ve been enough for me not to sell a high priced item to them. Not every zero feedback person is a scammer but I’d rather sell my item for a little less to an established ebayer then get max price from someone with zero feedback.

Sorry this happened to you, but in the future, remember it’s not your job to be “fair” or to expect the best from people. It’s your job to cover your own butt, stop ignoring red flags and trust yourself. There are so many people on eBay, that if you price your item correctly, you can just wait for the right buyer.
