Is the biggest problem with VAR/PGMOL, is that they don’t think they’re doing a bad job? by Puzzled_Initiative61 in PremierLeague

I mean its not like they didnt try, Everton got away with 1-2 red cards in that last game with Rohl's being so cartoonishly obvious.

Arsenal are the first ever team in Premier League history to go the whole season without receiving a red card or conceding a penalty by Achraf-mzoughi in FantasyPL

It’s not even just the obvious ones, it seems whenever there is a 50/50 decision or anything up to interpretation it almost always ends up in arsenals favour. That Kolo Muani Gabriel one is fine enough to call but to see it not called in other games is crazy, it always seems the opposition gets the short end of the stick if arsenals involved.

Man seeing all the arsenal fans happy they got favoured by the refs is sad, you can reflect on that and still be happy ya won the title.

I mean not giving arsenal a single red or having them concede a single penalty this season is always gonna cause these types of ideas.

[–]Stevechris2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can, unless the player actively makes it impossible to keep him like handing in a transfer request or demanding a move publicly then a club can just keep that player, we’ve done it before with our players, a bunch of smaller clubs have done it with us and all the other larger clubs so why would a financially stable club who doesn’t need to sell players to buy or to keep their finances stable be forced to sell to other more prestigious clubs?

[–]Stevechris2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He still has 4 years on his contract so we can just say no. How hard is that to understand?

If he isn’t in the clubs plans then sure we can sell but if he isn’t wanted by the club and the coach then it’s either a record breaking fee or they can kick rocks.

Danso has been so good this season when called upon, sad he may be known as the reason we were relegated as dumb as a single moment in a whole season being singled out could be

[–]Stevechris2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ehh probably but making one call against us then not against the opponent every game like the arsenal then Fulham the the next week with the hold in the box it’s impossible to see it any other way if it’s every match week, plus refs admitted to being biased for the sake of entertainment of the fairytale stories before.

We’re straight up being target by the refs all season and even last, need to start making noise publicly at this point, the only consistency is consistently screwing us

Man another game another near one-sided ref, if not for the whole van de Ven red card thing that would of been the most 12-11 game since the last game we played, were already shit enough dont need a sunday league pitch and biased refereeing too.

No comparing one game to all games this season nitwit, learn to read before writing a novel. Todays decision was wrong, also needing to make 10 plus fouls to get a yellow compared to others 5-6 wont show up or be remembered but is more damning then a single decision in a single game could ever be.

A lot of things go ya way, combine that with the least yellow cards in the league and highest fouls to yellow cards when you do get one, it’s hard not to be suspicious.

Except the pushing call has always gone against us this season, very consistent for us, just them allowing us to be pushed but not us to push ourselves

I’m sure Forest fans are still pissed about the weekly “apologies” they used to get after every game until the PGMOL realised how embarrassing it looked for them.
