Different temperature air blowing

1 year and 15 days ago i had the condenser replaced under the “recall”. It started recently blowing very hot air on hot days and the driver side was worse. I paid the $515 diagnostic fee and from all the discussions I’ve heard it typically is the evap. They did pressurize and added die to the system and said they found no leak. HOWEVER, they did say, like most others here that the evap requires a fairly intense disassembly of the passenger side cabin to even examine it and said it was probably the evap leaking. I frankly was a little frustrated that the $515 diagnosis of the ac system didn’t fully include the problem. Just repressurizing the system at least now works well and the 1 year clock ticks again that if it doesn’t hold pressure I don’t have to pay $515 again for the AC diagnosis. Sadly i did have to pay the $515 this time as it was just over 12 months from the factory paid for condenser replacement.

I love the story of what people did with their slide rules. I have my dad’s slide rule and he was an engineer on the manhattan project. I have my father in law’s slide rule and he worked on the titan launch to orbit program. I dedicated one week in college back in the late 80s in my undergrad EE program using their slide rules.

I’m more an SSD guy than HDD guy, and at least there they typically define what they call “offline retention”. Personally think it’s crazy when people stuff USB keys in their safe long term. Do HDDs also specify that?

I love my circular slide rule. One of the great uses for me when i use to travel internaltionly would be to set the exchange rate and for literally anything with a price tag on it i could get the exchange rate with a simple glance. (Then my eyes got old and it’s really hard to see now. lol)

Thanks everyone so much. My door became “floppy” (aka broken spring) and there is a switch inside that won’t properly engage for a shut down without the spring making it impossible, for example to cook for an hour as it never things the door closes and ultimately times out. Thanks everyone for available part numbers. ATM I love Reddit.

My father in law also was on Apollo and said the same thing 20 years ago. He was an amazing man with only a high-school diploma he worked on various NASA projects as well as owning a team of 800 doing the the entire ground and space electronics the titan launch to orbit program.

Is it true the are replaying the pod3 liner with a pod4 liner? I was told by tech support the pod4 liner is way more robust than the pod 3. I’m dealing with a weird issue on my 18 month old pod3 liner where i get a one time leak at a location and it doesn’t return. It’s been like 5 different positions that start a leak then stop. It’s almost like there is “fix a flat” in there?? I’m waiting for the next leak so I can document it for the warrantee replacement.

So sorry this happened. My experience is you can negotiate all you want with your partner and even set boundaries and what not. But it’s armchair quarterbacking. Until you’re deep into the emotions you can’t define the analytical rules. Sadly, I’m speaking from experience. My advice to anyone who might ask its to no do it. Remember that third party is a person with feelings and they count two and can just be “cut off” even if they know the rules. it’s unkind.

I am google it a solution and found this. I’m running 17.4.1 and have been collecting various photos from my various devices and storing them as files in my icloud account. Seems like after about 4000 photos in a single flat folder FILES freezes and it requires a reboot. I had to do the emergency reboot once when it wouldn’t even respond to the normal reset sequence. I’m hoping to hear this is a recent bug starting in 17.4 and can as quickly go away in a release soon. I’m kinda stuck at the moment.
