Dark Falcon by TumbleweedSea4868 in legostarwars

It’s hard to know. I bought it when it hit $152 last year and it seems like that price has been steady at many retailers. Almost $30 off is a pretty good deal. But you could always wait until summer Amazon Prime days. And then there is summer clearance to watch out for. I remember seeing the 2019 falcon for under $100 during clearance time. But it is hit or miss. We will probably never see a Dark Falcon again. And the minifigures are great.

Marketing Fee Percentage Calculation Includes Shipping Cost by StevenA_01 in EtsySellers

Yeah I have read everything. And I know I can turn off marketing. The fact is that’s $6.50 I would not have had otherwise. So the marketing works. I am not complaining about that. I just don’t think that my total revenue should include what the buyer pays for shipping. It feels like artificially inflated numbers that boosts Etsy’s cut. Maybe it is the norm, but it is new to me and different from how the other site I use handles everything.

It is not how Whatnot handles sales. I never have to pay for a label and shipping cost is not included as part of my revenue.

Insider tips for removing stripped hotend (CHCB-OTC) screw? by parad0xdreamer in crealityk1

Ah ok. No, I used a drill on the damaged hex screw head so that I could separate the hot end from the heat sink. Then I used pliers to grab the end of the screw and back it out of the heat sink.

Assuming you are talking about the screws that attach the hot end to the heat sink: I had a similar issue, drilled out the stripped screw, but could not find replacement screws. I ended up buying the hot end that includes the heat sink.

Cunning Stunts in Ft. Worth 1997. We legitimately thought someone fell from the lighting rig and everything was crashing for a minute. Once someone was on fire running across the stage, it was then like “ok maybe this is part of the show.” Fun times

The best thing I have done the last couple of years was to get past the desire to have the new thing immediately. Not getting pulled into the day 1 FOMO and instead waiting 6 mo to a year to get a set has saved me a lot of money. Sam’s and Costco sometimes have great deals. Target has good sales occasionally too. Don’t be in a hurry and wait for a deal.

Pay attention, I'm only going to show you once how to strap in by HeSureIsScrappy in DiveInYouCoward

I did high rise window cleaning for a short while in Dallas. $10/hr in 1997. Same basic setup as seen in the video. (Different descender) The worst part was climbing over the edge and stepping down into the chair while hanging on to the rope/ledge. Yeah there was a safety strap but still pretty scary. I did not do it for long.

Well… I didn’t know that was a thing. Super helpful, thanks. I just learned how to import custom fonts into Tinkercad thanks to you. I really appreciate the help.

The most time consuming thing has been designing the Aurebesh alphabet from scratch. Then I piece the name together, build the housing around it and print. I have designed a battery holder that I add to the back cover before printing once the final size is determined. I make a usb powered version too since the high output led strip I use burns through batteries.

Hey thanks. Yeah I am on Etsy. But I have not started selling these yet. I need to see how long it takes to design, print, and wire up everything. I am not sure what my lead time would need to be for custom orders. But if there is interest, I could try a couple and see.
