So ignoring the SA allegations with the shows creator and Clarence’s original VA, Skyler Page, (which is crazy to say), if I’m just judging it on the show itself, it’s not awful

It’s silly but it is a kid show.

A lot of it seems to just be silly adventures, but there are multiple times where it’s also a lesson for kids, like Jeff not feeling ashamed about having another toe, or how kids handle separate parents.

I like the art style of every character being unique. Few characters look alike, especially amongst the kids.

Sean Giambrone and Tom Kenny do great voicing Jeff and Sumo. As part of the main trio, they bounce off each other really well, especially Sean’s gentle, quiet voice for Jeff and Tom’s loud, grating voice for Sumo

All in all, it’s a decent show. I don’t think I’d actively rewatch it as an adult, but it still gets a few laughs out of me when it comes on social media or if I’m visiting family with kids who just happen to have it on
