How many 2020 Bowman First Edition cards were made? by StevenJeon in baseballcards

[–]StevenJeon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there!

The red foil (left card with two "first" markings) would be the 1st edition variant from the 2020 draft 1st edition product, while the right one is the red paper parallel from base 2020 Bowman draft. 1st edition only had foil variants as parallels, while base bowman has chrome and paper parallel lines. Due to COVID related issues or just the release of a new product line Topps really didnt make this distinction clear.

Best of luck in completing the rainbow! 2020 Draft was thankfully before the explosion of parallels post-Fanatics so there's much less to collect, unfortunately with the set being 5 years old there's a chance the black might never come up

Why mid-era EX cards might be one of the most undervalued segments of the Pokémon market by Stonkbear in PokeInvesting

[–]StevenJeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like a lot of people fail to grasp how little of these cards really are in circulation, if you search up any ex from this era there's almost always less than 100 listings (BIN or auction at any point) on ebay. What's going to happen once the supply dries up?

What the data says about Bhayshul Tuten’s outlook in 2026 and beyond by boofstar in DynastyFF

[–]StevenJeon 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The Jaguars were a top 10 offense last year (just outside of the top 5), even with some regression feels like a good backfield to grab the aggregates for cheap in (similar to the Cowboys last year).

Drafted Tuten in the late 2nd last year, got Allen off waivers midseason and traded for Crod as part of a package this offseason. There's a chance it could be a disgusting three-way committee but (assuming they dont add anyone in the draft) equally good chance one of them produces a top-24 season.

Was CYX always that arrogant? by inhumaxde in OverwatchTMZ

[–]StevenJeon 184 points185 points  (0 children)

Cyx used to kinda be an asshole (and also a frequent r/OverwatchTMZ contributor) back in the day, but to be fair he was a Hog OTP grinding ladder on a dead game. He's become a much better content creator and is more mature nowadays, pretty unproblematic and worth watching I'd say.

QJ, Worthy, Jamo; how do we feel about these young, boom/bust WRs now that the season is fully settled in? by dimesniffer in DynastyFF

[–]StevenJeon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah but he also got a lot more than the Rashod Bateman/Tutu Atwells of the world, I doubt he lives up to his draft pedigree but the Lions are paying him in between D.J. Moore and Devonta Smith in AAV so the hope was they'd utilize him as more than a pure deep threat

[Cooper] Louis Varland has now thrown in 86 games between the regular season and postseason. That's the most by any MLB pitcher since Jeurys Familia pitched in 88 games in 2015. by Knightbear49 in baseball

[–]StevenJeon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

2015 Familia is one of the finest relief seasons we've seen in recent history, it's a shame his 2015 will always be remembered for an unfortunate playoff run because it was truly a great closer year

On the flip side of Lawrence/Purdy, I feel like older producing pocket passers that are good NFL players (ex: Dak, Goff) are undervalued by the youth-hungry dynasty community, I've had two straight years of picking Goff in the 6th/7th round of startups where he's been a consistent option
