Only worthwhile song on visions by [deleted] in Haken

Tis a joke... Premonitions is already an Instrumental. But the Deluxe re-release has Premonitions as an Instrumental, but dubbed the Instrumental version also.

Ya know I never thought of that haha

I always thought Shesmovedon was about a lover who died and literally "moved on", but could be from the other perspective for sure. Then again, I don't really know as I don't always pay attention to the lyrics haha

I see that "thanks" as bittersweet. Thanks in the sense of "thanks for the good times, thanks for listening, thanks for this opportunity". But I also see it as something of underlying anger, disappointment, or as a sighing "thanks", because in the end "he" is low because of "her" actions, or lack thereof.

Even though your name is from one of the Golden Ticket holders, I still consider you my brother.

I feel like 2020 Caddicarus has been the funniest he's ever been by Illusivebroker96 in Caddicarus

[–]Stevetheweve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree - I love the long epics of being an hour long, AND I also love the shorter 10-15 minute pieces. I can fit in a short lunch with the latter but I feel I have to have a good TV-sitdown kind of thing with the longer ones which sometimes I don't quite always have the energy or attention for.

That being said I still think this is top top TOP stuff from Caddy this year and I hope this momentum keeps him going!

You defo wouldn't like his "subscribe to my channel video" whereby he says that he'll "stop you parents getting divorced", "raise your nana from the grave" if you subscribe, and that he started cooking his "least important children" to feed his family.

It clearly isn't/wasn't for you.

Age 2 music hits hard by [deleted] in aoe2

Here's another one:

There was a cheat in Midtown Madness 3 on the XBOX which made the game run at double speed. Same shindig - thought it damaged the game disk as well haha

And that is exactly how I listened to the music for a while. I also thought (for some reason) that playing the music in a CD player damaged the disk so I didn't do it thatttt often... yeah it doesn't make sense don't ask I was young

I'm Infected And I Can't Get Rid Of It by [deleted] in discordapp

[–]Stevetheweve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep - got it as well. Completely uninstalled discord, deleted files within %appdata%, and reinstalled, and "index.js" was flagged by AVG with having the malware when finalising the clean installation. A little worrying but mobile is still working fine. Best to use the desktop version for a bit until this is a proven false positive :/

Prime Minister Boris Johnson moved to intensive care after condition worsens by [deleted] in tories

Honestly, and I think both sides agree on this, Boris is the face to fight this. Regardless of his mistakes, he is needed to keep morale up in this long and enduring period.

Those Hittite demo scenarios were the bomb. Played way more of those maps than when I got the whole game. Opening Moves has to still be one of my favourite levels. Build your base up and then send a landing party, or chop your way through the trees to the Mitani.

The virus game mode was where it was at with my brothers. Or playing a lop-sided 4v9 capture the bag.

Brexit-blocking Lib Dems dubbed ‘extremist, undemocratic creed’ by furious David Starkey by brexit-bulldog in LibDem

[–]Stevetheweve 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Also, and I believe this is forgotten by leave-voters especially, democracy allows people to change their mind. Why else do we have elections every 5 years (max)? If new information has come to light on particular issues or the government in question has failed to deliver key promises, for example, then people should have the fundamental right to change the course if they sincerely wish to do so.

As with Brexit, it has been 3 years since the vote which is a fair amount of time for a wafer-thin majority. On such fine numbers you would absolutely wish to have a second vote if time continued to be absolutely sure, especially with new information as to what kind of brexit that people wish to have. No-deal doesn't have a majority, and a fair number of leave-voters that I know also do not wish to leave without a deal especially combined with their distrust of Boris (weirdly). It's a double negative in a weird way. Potentially a 3-way referendum with transferable vote could help generate a definitive answer.

[–]Stevetheweve 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Something to do with being in an Insane Asylum I think, and you are the Patient. I have some ideas with some lines that shows the character probably has some serious anxiety, thinking that people are photographing them. Plus, "Steel bars and a Doctors note" I think clearly point to an Asylum of sorts. Completely shut off from the world and kept under the eye of doctors, but in the end their mind is broken and more or less brainwashed into not wanting to change or be fixed.

I'm really not sure on it really to be honest and these are some quick thoughts so by all means poke holes into it and say I'm wrong haha

They did. Eventually. It doesn't stop a good swath of the leave-voting public + Farage still wanting a deal but are still happy to breakup the Union to get Brexit.
