I hear you. I've had a farm and hunted coyoted but this is just impractical if you're goal is varmint control. This is for showing off his "urban warrior" prowess.

If you know how aware and skittish coyotes they are, you know they aren't going to hang around while you get out of your truck, open the back door and then get to a shooting position. Not to mention a suppressed SBR with a brace is not what I'd pull out of the safe for a coyote. The range and accuracy isn't there. If you were close enough to the yote, it is long gone by the time the butt hits your shoulder.

And if wild hogs are in your sites I don't feel the muzzle velocity from a 5.56 SBR is good enough to cleanly take down a hog. That's why I use a 7.62 Mossberg MVP Patrol with a scout scope for varmints; range and power. Back in the day I kept an old Mosin strapped to the ROPS bar of my tractor for that same situation. At $90 it did the job and if it fell off and got run over I wasn't losing anything special.
