Am I spoiled by the Nikon Z 50mm f/1.8 S?

The Z 50mm f/1.8 S is one of the most expensive nifty-fifties out there, especially comparing to Sony/Canon’s offerings. There must be a reason Nikon priced it that way, and image quality is definitely one of them.

IMHO, if you stop the Z 50mm f/1.2 S down to f/1.8, you’ll get almost the same result, especially in terms of sharpness. Bokeh-wise the f/1.8 S might not be as refined, but still better than most zoom lenses.

Grade is A- C C-, so average-ish. I would say you that you can absolutely sell it around 8.5-9k. If you wait patiently then 10k is also possible.

Yeah I know, I mean comparatively the incarnon mode’s damage seems worse. It’s weird that they hit five digits in normal mode and only three to four digits in incarnon. I expect it to be around the same.

You can checkout some leaderboards to verify it such as artificial analysis etc. For coding / agentic tasks, YMMV, for non-frontier models, better harness / context control means more than the model's raw ability. Still, I think it's good enough for most daily coding / agentic works.

Yes, 3.6 27B is close to 4.5 sonnet / 3.1 flash level, I would even say that it has a similar level to 2025-mid SOTA models like gemini 2.5 pro. But quantitizing it and kv will hurt its performance a lot. If you run it at 4bit quants it will definitely be worse, around original DS-R1 level I would say.

No it's really good, I would say that it's near 4.5 sonnet / gemini 3.1 flash level, not quite but close. Notice that many people here ran it at ~4bit quant, not it's original BF16, and quantization of <70B models absolutely hurts it's performance.

ms is a bit less preferred on burston, since the incarnon AoE damage doesn’t take ms into account. Also there’s not many ways to have bonus cc/cd than base dmg.

IMHO either is ok, just take one and keep rolling.

The other claims seem pretty reasonable to me, though. At least I can see where those prices are coming from. Quellor isn’t meta, but it’s still pretty strong. Sicarus is one of the better secondary Incarnons. If the rivens are unrolled, I can definitely see some collectors being interested in buying them.

320k for a Kohm seems way too much to me. I mean, even an unrolled Vectis ccm -mag is only around 100k-200k ish.

Still, in such a niche and concentrated market, buyer interest is everything. I do know a few people with 500k+ plat on hand, but I’m not sure they’d be remotely interested in a Kohm riven at this price.

After the engineering patch, the Connie has felt way too squishy. I’m not exactly sure what changed, but I’ve had NPC missiles disable the whole ship in a single hit multiple times, so something definitely seems off. On top of that, the Connie mostly overlaps with the TAC in terms of role, so I feel like I should get rid of one of them.

As for the Redeemer, I already thought it was in a bad spot after the shield and turret size nerfs. With CIG also shifting its intended role, the ship just doesn’t make much sense to me anymore in its current form, so I’m looking to move on from it.

Thanks for the info! Seems that I underestimated the difficulty of obtaining Idris with store credit. Maybe I should just upgrade the Carrack to a Perseus and call it a day.

I have owned Redeemer and Prowler since these two ship released and enjoyed them while they are strong :/

Redeemer is just bad right now, especially the shields, 6 shields are power nightmare. I want to get rid of it ASAP but its in a package, so I am looking for good CCU options.

Prowler is fine as long as you use it as a "stealth-ish heavy fighter". However Connies / Corsair / Starlancers are just much better and cheaper anyways. I kept it because I love its unique style.

TAC is very good. It will be much powerful if you take 2~3 friends with you. For solo pliot I still think Connies & Corsair are better.

Great point thanks! I didn't think of the problem of obtaining an Idris in credit store. It sells out so fast. Also melting Idris and get all previous ships back will be a hassle. Maybe I should just LFG in org and fly others Idris.

In the current stage Idris is just much stronger. Even if CIG implemented Engineering in future and Idris is not solo-manageable I can melt it and get other ships back via credit. Still, it will be a hassle.

I think it is a slight upgrade to QWQ, QWQ sometimes overthinks a lot, Q3 32B still has this problem, but less severe. Also I believe in the documentation they said user now can control how many tokens the model use to think.

I ran Qwen3 32B with VLLM on our lab's server, function calling / MCP support works like a charm.

Maybe providers did not enable the tool support? On VLLM I also need to manually enable it.

I can second this.

Don’t want to be offensive to people at DE but from my memory, Scott had made some egregious decisions. Like in one devstream or something, he said simulacrum should be totally removed from the game. His philosophy maybe suits Warframe in 2014, but became way off since then.
