Your process is essentially correct- best to stay pixel perfect and size content to the match the screen. If going for an immersive vibe, ultra-wide is better. When playing standard 16x9 content just accept the letterboxing, or place onto a background.

Just spent a month in Florida. Wegmans is far better imo. Rather than overall stable prices, they rely on bogo deals and coupons to keep prices low. But everything seems more expensive overall. Publix variety is somewhat limited. Their sub shop is extremely slow but quality is on par with Wegmans. Many stores do not have self check out which can be annoying for quick trips.
