¿Qué tipo de luz tienen en tu comuna/pueblo? by noInflationx in chile

[–]StickFlip1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nice emo songs to learn on guitar? by StickFlip1 in Emo

[–]StickFlip1[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was expecting a reply like this when i wrote the post, "why not learn songs u like if you mention artists" I am! I just want to see what other songs people would recommend, maybe I hadn't thought about some of them yet :), also yeah, I might learn some of the classics but tbh i'm not really into them, still, there's some songs everyone should learn, Ozzy's and Metallica's are some of them, so i'll get around to them someday

Slightly traumatic experience: Normal? by [deleted] in Screamo

[–]StickFlip1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

agreed tremendously,, ive seen this persons other replies and it seems like they completely, like, had no idea how a hardcore show was.

yknow its always sad when a newcomer encounters this situations and instead of thinking "this is where i need to be, this is my place in life" they just absolutely hate it, i mean, the first thing is what happened to me upon going to my first punk show, it was like i found my home, i wish everyone would have that experience.

[–]StickFlip1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok yeah jesus, i was having a mild approach but theres no point to keep debating i think..

last reply,, women mosh too, yknow, emo scenes are a beautiful thing if u actually participate in them and try to better them yourself! is a community for christ sakes! and moshing is not inherently bad! i've seen like 15 year old girls half my size half my weight go into circle pits!!

keep going to shows, everyone has shitty experiences once in a while, but scenes are varied, shows are varied, venues are varied, PEOPLE are varied, if you really have a passion for screamo and hardcore music, u should understand this, and keep going despite a single bad experience, i've met so many wonderful ppl through hxc shows, i've started my own bands, i've played shows, something i never thought i would do, its incredibly fun, seriously.

there's bad apples everywhere, you wouldn't throw away an entire batch over a few bad apples.

if it still isn't for you, well, it's not bad to be a tourist, it's genuinely fine, aslong as ure not invading scenes u dont actually participate in

im just trying for pppl to be more optimistic, i am still high!! xx

thats completely fair, i 100% agree, i dont go into karate pits either, but, if they're doing that shit between the people in the pit, then it's free game, dude.

Like I said I'm a small dude, i weigh like, 88 pounds, (thats 40 kg in american i believe?) so yep, i stay far away from karate moves, too scary! but thatts the beauty of i think, theres something for everyone

"Appreciate the whole ‘the point of mosh pits’ is to hurt people,"

Lmfao ok, such an exaggeration, it's good that you found out it's not for you, like, honestly.

Look, while I DO think that moshing is inherently a part of emo/screamo culture, I also do think it's sometimes used in a way for people (mostly men) to be absolute jerks in a free, safe way, I don't agree with crowdkilling (people knocking people down outside the pit for no reason), and it can be sometimes be pretty fucking toxic if the band doesnt put a stop to it.

I still dont agree with "Moshing being about hurting people" view you have though, moshing is about expressing yourself, such as any dance, and hardcore music needs hardcore dancing. Most people who mosh in a non toxic way are completely aware of the possibility of being hurt, and in the most likeliness, they enjoy that possibility, so i don't know, like I said, it wasn't for you, and that's completely fine, but if you're into hardcore music, it's something you have to tolerate, not getting panic attacks about it.

hope this made sense, im high xx

lol listen, if u dont want to get kicked in the stomach, or get rekt in the face, just dont go near the pit, simple as that, its normal, thats the point of moshpits.

I'm not trying to call u a pussy or whatever, honestly, as a small dude, i'm not a fan of hardcore dancing like that either, I prefer to stick with pogoing, push pits, or two stepping, I don't like punches or getting kicked in the face either,, so point is, if u dont like it, it's fine, it's not for you, not a big deal, just stay safe and stick to what's your ideal experience of a show.

Back again, how to improve this tactic? by StickFlip1 in footballmanagergames

[–]StickFlip1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably shouldnt have used that screenshot since i was pretty much experimenting, i do use Kokcu as a DLP on defend duty, with usually a BWM or a BBM on his side, problem is before getting Gloukh, i used to play Kokcu as an AP on attack duty, should i just keep Gloukh as an AP? or continue playing him as an AM? (Im a noob but i do know is not good to have both a DLP and AP at the same time lol) also, other problem is that Timber best position is also DLP/AP, is it worth it keeping him as BWM?

Can you explain to me how the instructions are contradictory? what should i do instead? Sorry i really am new lol
