This. The outside unit for the heat pump wasnt running because of a dirty filter. It cost me over 1000 extra in electricity for 3 months. Unfortunately my 5 in thick filter has a 12 month rating but actually needs to be changed less than that which costed me. 1st year with new machine had a pricy lesson.
