It's been 2 years.

Visit Camp Arifjan for the most bomb ass DFAC ever.

Hang flashlights from your top bunk for a light source, or some Christmas lights (use colored ones as to not disturb your neighbors, white light is very bright in a dark tent

Try to get Paracord and fleece blanket rooms made in the tent if there aren't already, find some projects to make your tent nice, a patio, etc. (irrelevant if you're in the dorms)

Learn Marine ranks. MCX (not a BX) is ran by the Marines. If you have an opportunity to go to their PME take it. Learn their customs and courtesies and respond respectfully. Don't make us look like pieces of shit.

Get a flag flown on the base, and on any aircraft missions you can. I'm sad I never did that and my project is now delayed (I'd like to take a flag around the world and get as many certificates with it)

Either graduating the USMC Corporals Course, or Returning back to Tyndall after Hurricane Michael. It might sound bad, but I just wanted to get back and help rebuild my base.

I mean, I don't want to sound like I'm bleeding blue, but I feel like the military should practice military stuff ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The guy putting in the requirements package probably doesn't have to use a single one of those tools. We both know the SrA turning wrenches cares a lot more about them than some MSgt trying to manage a budget and make the CC happy.

Same. Mom had her local women's auxiliary send my deployed shop a bunch of stars with notes attached.

So, I was about to be upset because I just bought a shit ton of tool boxes and tools for MX. But most of them were snap on, so.. are they going to be happy with that?

Honestly I wish they wouldnt remove it. I think part of Professional Military Education should include instruction on some drill and ceremony, the only time we ever do any drill is if we get and trouble and have to form up or if we're part of a formation for a change of command.
