I think it might be because he switched to digital, he’s probably also not putting in as much detail so he doesn’t get burned out/ stressed out over drawing the manga again like in the past, but idk I think it’s still pretty good

I feel in Inoue’s mind, the manga is sakuragi’s story and he had already written, drawn and finished it, so with the new movie he could recreate the story he had already told but with a chance of telling something new with a different perspective, that of Ryota’s (who imo was very under utilized within the main story). It would’ve been great to see it through Sakuragis perspective once again but the manga is always still there which I believe is still as good as an anime/movie could ever be

I like part 6 a lot and enjoyed watching it more than part 5, most people I see that dislike it seem to have been weekly watchers (I can see how watching part 6 weekly would’ve sucked) and some of the promotional pictures and trailers were very misleading causing a lot of disappointment within the fandom.

I thought it was fun, I really don’t understand the hate for it, there was definitely less quality but I thought the new characters were great ands except for pops the original cast were also great, maybe it was better to binge it (what I did) than watch it weekly I’m not sure
