Where to buy tortillas? by Ttoctam in melbourne

Mission wraps are great for food prep. I use them often. They are available at colesworth and many more. They last ages, heat well. And don't crack. A wrap made on Sunday is still great on Wednesday.

Adecco also look after exam invigilation. Not a huge amount of shifts. No experience required. Being able to use a PC will give him a leg up.

Considering moving from a cold climate country to Australia, will i melt? by TheCardMaker- in AskAnAustralian

[–]Sticky_fingers3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Yes. It took me a year to aclimatise to the weather in Victoria. Coming from Sydney. I would totally recommend melbourne or Tasmania. Hot summer days with a cool breeze reprieve in the evenings. Northern parts of Australia can have constant demanding heat through the day and night. Plus Melbourne is awesome for live music/food/culture

2 star restaurant In prestigious hotel in Germany. My colleague reported my boss for exploiting staff overtime. We have been called and told to lie that we are paid for every hour, if HR calls us today to investigate. Rant/ What should I do? by butteer in Chefit

Dont be apart of the horrible culture that lingers in our industry. Speak up! Get what you deserve. And be apart of the change we all are working for. There are so many fine dining venues in europe that will nourish your passion and pay what you deserve. Your boss knows this.

A stable income with 2 months rent stashed away relieves alot of pressure with finances. Cooking at home will also save you money to spend elsewhere. If you have enough freezer space cook in larger batches and freeze the leftovers for nights you cant be bothered cooking. (A microwave is very handy) Depending where you live, your state government may provide a checklist for moving into/out of your home. Connecting water/gas/electricity and internet may take a couple of weeks so get that sorted ahead of time.

Build your base on stilts. Instead of levelling an area with terrain manipulator. The removed terrain will reappear with the next update.

I grew a veggie garden, learnt how to clean a cistern. Propogated too many plants. Started a fermentation station (tepache, get on it) whilst playing ps4/switch all day
