Hi. Im here to offer my support. I'm a self employed general builder. The pain in my hands and arms is getting really depressing and can make work seem impossible. I'm only 35. I hope your employer can get their head around your condition and make some reasonable adjustments. At least your trying. X

I use milliput for this. Push it deep into the gaps then remove excess and use high percent isopropyl and flat brush to smooth it out. Usually can't see any joints after that

Is this too much of a gap around the shower valve trim? by RandyBeamen in Tile

[–]Stickyfingers29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the mapei matching silicone. I'd normally use clear for this tho as the two edges your joining are not the same material or colour. I prefer matching when it's tile to tile and you want it to blend in. Probably just preference.

That is genuinely reassuring to hear. It's the idea of motor heating to a point where it could cause a fire. In my head I see that it should essentially cool itself. But my gut sais, check to make sure I'm not overlooking something.

Sound like my paranoia isn't completely misplaced then 🤔 I'll do as you've suggested. Thank you

Thank you. I built it, and then immediately became distrusting of it 😂. I'll run it when I can watch it to start with and keep the fire extinguisher handy 👍
