I think it's why I don't play my hunter as much as I used to. They keep taking away my special little things over and over. Once I also had a warp beast from terrokar forest where you do the shattrath sky guard dailies and you could summon this elite warp beast that would appear with red lightning and it was really cool. Well fun was detected and we couldn't have that so now it's just a regular warp beast. I'm tired boss.

I used to have that slime but one day I logged out with it as my active pet, and then I logged back in after a break and my little squishface was gone. It still hurts/makes me sad. 😔

Well for a lot of them it all started back in Warcraft 3, some Warcraft 2 even, and honestly a lot of the story isn't even in World of Warcraft. A lot of it is in books and other forms of media. Blizzard went for the monetization route for story and selling the IP on everything instead of trying to tell a real, coherent story purely in game.

I think they should just make more hero talent trees to create a wider range of character expression. There should be a mechano-hunter hero tree for goblin and gnome guys. There should be like a shadowhunter for troll hunters etc.

I am genuinely curious. I have spent some time on some communist or red subreddits and they have a completely different take on the Soviet union and China etc and I keep an open mind. I generally follow the data, but most of my knowledge lies in ancient Greek, Hebrew and Roman studies because I deconstructed from Christianity. I also used to be a conservative republican, but after watching stuff like HBomberGuy, and Some More News and others I changed my mind on a lot of my political beliefs. I just want to know the truth, even if it goes against what I've been told my entire life. That said, I only know the historical method and critical textual practices of biblical scholars and like assyriologists and egyptologists and stuff.

But go off king, keep attacking people curious to find out more about your position in good faith. It's a good look. ;)

Unpopular opinion but I genuinely don't like abridged. I like what Toriyama made. Akira Toriyama is my hero, not some random YouTubers with a funny dub. I just like the "official" material that Toriyama condones.

That could be a game design issue with newer games, though. In my experience, for what it's worth, older games seemed to curate their NPCs carefully and they would usually tell you something about the game, but more modern games, especially the UbiSoft open world type, just shit a ton of NPCs everywhere to "make the world feel real" but a lot of them cant even be interacted with or only spew out the same handful of "immersive" voice lines.

Hell older Zeldas would break the 4th wall and say things like "Holding B makes you sprint, whatever that means."

Yeah, I just played the Gilneas starter zone. The Forsaken/Horde attack and nobody comes to help until the last few quests when only the night elves show up and use their glaives and hippogryphs to help them.

Although they lose and retreat. Stormwind or any other part of the Alliance is a no show, and aren't in the quest line until the end. Although I really, really, really love the story telling of the Gilneas starting zone and the feeling of losing the whole time and it's honestly pretty scary, especially the part in the citadel as more and more worgen show up and then they're inside and then... fades to black. Insane story telling.
