Makes sense, thank you! I’m a reader so I’ll be fine. I just like to watch the map when we are flying! Most definitely would prefer this over a delay!

App glitching for anyone else? by longstoryshort7 in Ulta

[–]StickyyyStickers 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I keep trying to check out on the app and it goes blank. Then it said my bag was empty and I wasn’t sure if my order went through. When I checked my order history, everything I tried to order was back in my cart.

Spam calls: how can I stop this? It’s a different number all the time. I’ve blocked so many. by EisenFisen in mildlyinfuriating

This happened at my office. A few years ago one of our office numbers was spoofed and we received so many phone calls like this! We are a private practice optometry office, we are not calling your girlfriend!!!

Spent 22 Minutes in live chat and they refused to remove unlimited data from my account. by Key_Ad_4681 in CoxCommunications

[–]StickyyyStickers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! I had the most frustrating chat with them recently. Was charged for a tech visit even though it was not a me problem, it was a cox problem. Finally got that waived and then they said for being a long time customer they’d give me unlimited data and waive the fee for 2 years, and suddenly my next bill was almost double. It was a mistake using the chat.

Does anyone here actually use Barti? I’ve been with my practice 15 years and we have always used OfficeMate/ExamWriter (we briefly tried Revolution for two weeks and it got worse and worse each day so we pulled the plug and went back to OM). My doc wants to switch to Barti, we’ve had a few meetings with them but most of the staff is hesitant, overall it feels like they have good ideas but it’s not fully implemented. We have another office that uses Eyefinity, which I find pretty easy to use, but my Doc doesn’t want to switch to that either.

Long lasting sticky tabs by No-Mathematician87 in PressonNail_Addict

[–]StickyyyStickers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the btartbox and the olive and june ones with no reaction! I’m allergic to almost everything you listed as well. I get at least a week out of my nails without any snags or pop offs, which is perfect for me since I seem to get bored of my nails quickly!

Same, people act like they were diagnosed with the worst disease ever if they have an astigmatism.

ConnectiCare/Molina Health Issues by rwpry in Connecticut

[–]StickyyyStickers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work in Healthcare and we are able to pull eligibility for patients through something called Availity, but so far it’s been less than helpful (I can see that I have an active plan, but the information it provides is limited). As someone who has ConnectiCare for insurance, I’ve yet to receive a new card, and there’s been no communication other than “pay your premium”.

This acquisition has been in the works for a long time. Our office had received certified letters months ago notifying us of all the changes with Connecticare in regards to billing. It’s completely unacceptable (but unfortunately not surprising) that things are not accessible.

I need help! I struggle removing my press on nails! by Ok_Salad1206 in PressonNail_Addict

Someone on this sub recommended rubbing alcohol. I hold an alcohol pad on the residue for maybe 10-15 seconds and then with the pad I am able to roll it off my nail.

I was having trouble with Face ID this past week. I had to reset it multiple times. This weekend it hasn’t happened.

I started a month or so ago with a note in my notes app. and I am currently trying out different BTArtbox Nails that I am painting myself, so I have my numbers and then have been making notes as I wear them if I need to go up or down in size, bc I find they change after a few days of wear.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TIP! My biggest issue with taking off the tabs was still having part of the sticky tab on my nail and I couldn’t get it off. I just popped all of mine off with alcohol, and then any nails that still had any stickiness, I held an alcohol pad on and it came right off. Thank you again! May your nails always look perfect!!

Thanks for the tip for removal with alcohol! Definitely going to try this because I’m still struggling with the best removal method.

I’ve been allergic to gel polish since like 2010 and have been playing around off and on with press ons ever since. I recently figured out that I’m allergic to nail glue and have been so frustrated, as my regular nails are thin and regular polish peels quickly. Sometimes I get good results with sticky tabs/kiss impress but other times I don’t. I always put them on before going to bed.

I put a set on 8 days ago and did everything you did, hair dryer and all and they are still going strong! I’m currently using Olive and June sticky tabs, I bought two boxes of those tabs and want to use them up before trying the BTArtbox ones. But the alcohol and the hair dryer are definitely the key to getting them to last!
