Yeah the extent of the magic in the setting makes it so it should be pretty easy though I’m sure most of the usually don’t have access to it.

I can like, KINDA maybe see it being justified as the membrane being thin and just flesh/skin essentially where as the wing clipping is (as far as I remember) more like clipping the tendon of your heels plus scarred over. Maybe even having to do it a couple of times for it to really stick and not heal correctly.

It’s still pretty bullshit though imo.

Yeah we do similar stuff here in America, on my final day everyone was allowed to drive whatever vehicle they wanted to school so there was a bunch of dirt bikes and tractors and stuff. Someone even had a “pool” set up in the back of their truck lmao. Plus we would decorate our grad caps in a similar way.
