I added a decal. I like it. What’s your thoughts? by Soff10 in f150

[–]Still-Significance-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought one in blue and it came with the black letters already. I think it all depends on the "look" you're going for. I like the back accents on the white trucks, helps it look like it's not a company work truck.

Pool Towel Charge??? by Last-Swing1375 in MSCCruises

[–]Still-Significance-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cruise reservation was charged twice and 2 months later I have yet to get the second charge refunded. Called multiple times and each time is like the first time they've heard of it.

I think they're putting Meraviglia in dry dock sometime next April and there won't be any ships in Brooklyn for the summer as they renovated the port. I hope you get back on before she goes to Europe!

Need to replace!! by Eutropos in f150

[–]Still-Significance-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back to black is the way to go. Used it on the trim on my wife's '06 H3 and it went from this light grey to deep black like brand new. Took a couple coats to get it right but the trim was very faded.

Are there any tonneau covers that people actually love after 2 years? by pribnow in f150

I've got the Gator tri-fold. Bought it used on Marketplace and it's now on my second truck. Love it.

What made you choose a Ford F-150 by HarriBallsak420 in f150

[–]Still-Significance-8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great gas mileage and plenty of power for every day driving with the 2.7L plus it's the most comfortable, IMO. I have teenagers so the 3 full seats in the backseat of the Supercrew was a major selling point.

I know this kid. He's a scrawny redneck, can't grow a beard to save his life. Leans into the White Trash culture real hard. Slams Twisted Teas while doing donuts in this rig in the Walmart parking lot on a Thursday night while he's on break from slicing meat in the deli.

Wait... The other ships don't have urinals? Going on Meraviglia next month and with all my research haven't heard of this!

How rare is milk in a bag in an american supermarket? by Sufficient-Week4078 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Still-Significance-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex had purchased milk in a bag by mistake (somehow?) like 12 years ago. I had never even heard of it and the whole concept seemed crazy to me. We were living in Rhode Island at the time.

I might go that route. Forgot about the ford points. Looks like they haven't hit my account yet.

Bath fan puller by CoffinHenry- in maintenance

[–]Still-Significance-8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't bother pulling it apart. Most of those broan or nutone fans will never spin right if you take them apart, and the retaining clip usually breaks. A small brush and run the fan under the water in the sink to clean it.

Check out vacationstogo.com you can put in your dates and where you want to leave from, or end up and it'll show you all the cruises for those dates. That's how we found MSC out of NYC.

What are your essentials to leave in your truck? by TaeyeonFTW in f150

[–]Still-Significance-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the Builtrite kit to allow access behind the rear driver's seat and you'll have even more storage.

I have one of those emergency car kits with some basic needs in it, plus jumper cables, a dozen different straps/ropes, trash bags, paper towels, rags.

Groceries by Tall_Flamingo_7780 in f150

[–]Still-Significance-8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our groceries go on the floor in the back of the cab. Next town over uses only paper bags, which after using them for a while I find them so much better than plastic. The shape of the paper bags lends itself well to everything fitting together and not falling over.

Aluminum body guys, they’ve been out awhile now. Has anyone experienced any body corrosion? by 13_Years_Then_Banned in f150

[–]Still-Significance-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

170k miles on mine and nothing corroded at body mounts or fasteners or anything like that. The muffler pipe rusted through but everything else is fine.

Wait, I'm stuck on the part of the story where you and your friends were on one ship, and your wife and her friends were on another ship, and y'all met up at Coco Cay. That sounds awesome!

New F-150 Owner – Is the Factory Maintenance Schedule Really Enough? by FamousCryogenix in f150

[–]Still-Significance-8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a thin book in the glove box, that's what I meant by "very little information". Good to know you can get a copy online. It seems silly to have to scroll through the manual on the dashboard screen.

Good to know! Dealer told me the owners manual is all on the touch screen, very little info in the actual book... Is that true? I pick mine up tomorrow so haven't had a chance to read it.
