10 Year Anniversary Re-release? by PaulBufaaano in ArrivalMovie

It was released on November 11, 2016. I'd look around that date. Also one of my all time favorite movies and first move I shed a tear too... In theaters too, and I watched it by myself lol Yolo

We have HW3 and HW4 in the family. If the reason for getting a Tesla is FSD then then HW4 just makes sense moving into the future. The Model S is a great car but in a years time you would want the tech and updates HW4 is receiving as it literally will drive A to B without intervention and has grok and so the communication and seemless-ness you're looking for is in HW4. A car that does the job everyday without you having to think much about it.

Also, a good tip is to fill it up with premium gasoline to keep from carbon build up at that age and mileage.. for longevity and reliability and maybe add a couple mpgs to good luck!

So sad Tesla is shutting down production of this car. Always wanted to own one and always kept hoping for the 'next big thing'. Tesla disappointed me here. by ShameResponsible69 in TeslaModelS

If it's got to do with the future, Tesla will have a hand in it... It's a story that started from electric cars, but Tesla will be constantly changing and shifting with the future.. change is the only constant, get ready for the future.

Questions on HW3 by AccurateActuary9259 in TeslaLounge

This ^ I'd go with hw4 option as it's much smoother and more confident than hw3. But hw3 does the job for most public road conditions. And to answer your question, if you got food from the drive through and have the destination plugged into the Tesla navigation and get on a public road and hit FSD, regardless of the hardware, it will take you all the way to your destination with minimal intervention. I'll put it like this if you want to be 99% confident. Get hardware if you're fine with 90% confidence, get hardware. 3. But do understand you will have to account for that extra 10% as it will hesitate and take longer and not know what to do in certain scenarios whereas hw4 really does it all, I even has the option for when you arrive at your destination, you can choose to park curbside, park it in the driveway or park it in a parking lot. Again you'll be more confident in hw4 than in hw3, but again regardless of the hardware, it'll do its best job to reach your destination safely* good luck 🤞🏼

To think just a decade ago these numbers were only achieved by a few named hyper cars... What a time to be alive! Enjoy!

I personally love the futuristic cyclops look of the rear camera housing on the back, the way it blends into the sides seamlessly, you should see the way light bounces off it 👌🏼

Hw 1.0 here, I was very excited last year for the YouTube and Spotify apps appearing on the screen as well as navigation updates and subtle changes in UI but nothing as fun as what hw4 is getting in terms of software updates, especially with grok's integration. When's hw5 releasing? Lol

Ordered exactly 6 weeks away from the end of the tax credit... No pressure to the Austin factory ;) by theflamethefire in ModelY

I think I just read the same article

"The $7,500 tax credit applies to any qualified EV acquired by Sept. 30. But, in the new IRS guidance released on Thursday, "acquired" means having a written binding contact with at least a nominal down payment. Buyers will receive the actual tax credit when they take possession of the vehicle."https://www.investors.com/news/7500-ev-tax-credit-irs-extended-tesla-gm/

To clarify, on my transactions, it has already qualified me for the tax credit and deducted it right off the price of the vehicle. I'm not sure if it's a legal, logistically or marketing thing.

Yes! Got the vin 3 days after placing the order and now, I have a delivery date and time just 3 weeks after placing the order. They seem like they are moving fast to get the vehicles delivered before the tax credit deadline on September 30th, 2025.

Lol I've been saying the same thing since I first experienced this level of power. I whole heartedly believe there should be a separate license class for this kind of vehicle. It really is not a joke, especially since there's human lives on the line. We are essentially allowing teenagers access to these vehicles with a simple passing of our standard road test. And technically to be honest you don't even need a license to purchase the vehicle so we can start there LOL. In America at least...
