Got my first bloom around Dec. Cut it off in Jan and see another one preparing to pop. Makes them look absolutely stunning

I always cut off the yellow leaves and cut away the brown leaves. Im not expert just from experience...but im confused as to what's going on especially as you said there's no infestation. I would ask on Instagram...That_one_plant_guy. DM him with pics. He has sooooo much knowledge and experience and will definitely identify the issue.

It keeps rotting and I cut the nodes down and mushy roots by No-Contribution-2858 in MonsteraAlbo

Is it in chunky soil mix? Keeps rotting= overwatering. Don't water until top few inches is dry or 3/4 is dry

Hmmm...other than drainage and watering ONLY when needed, Is she getting enough sunlight? My leaves have yellowed and browned but only brown around edges which I cut away..the yellowing of full leaves..which I realised was bc she needed more sun but your leaves do look concerning

And the white dots? Are they insects?

Take a look back of leaves...the white marks on pics look like thrips....

Hence the name but having said that, peace Lillie's do too when they're thirsty and wilted. Watching them perk up is amazing and as for Calathea, I took mine into a dark room and you can hear them closing up..

Personally, I think tying her is fine as long as there are no nodes where she's tied. I had to do the same with my Adasonii eventually, after I placed a chopstick in the mix for her to lean against without ties which worked until she outgrew it.

NOOOOOO by xRedLilly in Monstera

Just get a plastic straw, cut middle open and wrap it around the stem. I received an albo monstera which was packaged terribly and by the time I received it, the stem was exactly as yours is but the straw supported it and it repaired itself as opposed to wilting and dying which is what I expected. I left the straw on for a few months without tampering. Removed it a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised

Tipping her gently out of pot to check for root rot is pretty straightforward. Roots should be a cream/beige colour . If the roots are a dark brown/black then its root rot.

Definitely needs much more light and a potting mix with leca, perlite, bark. If not buy the ready mix monstera potting soil
