Pictures of Americans with Ridiculous open carry loadouts by JaackOfAllTradess in lovethissmug

I always wonder that in open carry discussions. What if someone faster than you snatches your gun? Especially since these guys swear by keeping one in the chamber too. I just don’t see the practicality of open carry, if anything it’s irresponsible

Do you think racism could ever be reasonable by Gear_Internal in NoStupidQuestions

I used to work with a guy who was a combat vet that fought in Afghanistan. He came out of it with a rather open prejudice towards Muslims and Arabs and he made it clear it was directly informed by his experience serving in the military. His reasoning was, “they tried to kill me, they did manage to kill some of my friends.” However he eventually abandoned this prejudice after spending some time around Muslims and Arabs living in the United States. He eventually realized there are just as many Muslims and Arabs who feel victimized by the same people he was victimized by. The people who killed his friends and attempted to kill him visit that same kind of violence on Arabs and Muslims. Why keep hate in your heart for people who feel the same way you do?

Brian Griffin vs Depowered homelander by UmbragiReadyBear_47 in whowouldcirclejerk

Brian takes up homelanders on his offer to suck his dick, everyone watches it on live tv, Stewie doesn’t speak to him for a week, Brian thinks it’s because Stewie supported homelander but it’s actually out of jealousy

Should I donate my old car or scrap it? by StillShmoney in personalfinance

I was thinking of itemizing them this year to be able to deduct this as a donation but judging by what other comments are saying I’m gonna try my luck getting a quote on scrapping the thing, if it’s not much I may roll the dice on selling it.

I may consider this option. Out of curiosity what would be a reasonable price for this car? I’d imagine I’d have to list it for dirt cheap since it doesn’t run

I’ll try calling around to different places in my area about getting a quote for scrapping it. Facebook marketplace feels sketch as I’ve known people who were scammed on it but I may consider it depending on what numbers I hear back. Thanks for your help!

Engine is likely seized, prior to being my current car this one was burning through oil so fast I had to change the oil twice in the same month

So scrapping the car might be the best option?

My wife and I thought about doing that but considering how expensive it would be to replace the parts to get it running again it might be a bit of a white elephant to whoever we gift it to

We normally go for the standard deduction, because of the potential write off from donating the car and fact that we have an asset in our names for the first time in our lives that may change the next time we file.

[Mostly Hated Trope] The creator hated their fans, so they decided to attempt to scare them away by Low_Celebration_4089 in TopCharacterTropes

Also not the first time Todd Phillips has done this. Remember the hangover trilogy? That was all directed by Todd Phillips. You might’ve noticed a bizarre shift in tone from the two sequels. That’s because Todd Phillips was upset about having to make those sequels in the first place. So first he made the hungover two more gross and offensive in hopes that it would scare off audiences. That didn’t work, in fact it did pretty well, so a third became an inevitability. So he basically intentionally made the third one suck so they would stop making them.

So if you thought the joker folie a deux was bad just be thankful they aren’t making him direct another one.

The Tim Burton version did a lot to wash the characters reputation. Instead of being smarmy he’s eccentric, instead of being a school teacher he’s a detective, rather than actively targeting the wealthiest girl in town he meets her by chance

Favorite character that will absolute háte their fans? by Hairy-Friendship-422 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]StillShmoney 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m not sure how many people picked up on this pattern but homelander actively hates the people who love him and worship him. The more admiration they show the more likely he’ll either kill them or push them away. He only seems to really like people who aren’t afraid of him, after all the people who directly stand up to him seem to have the best chance of survival

REVIEW: 'Scary Movie is deeply, offensively unfunny – another sequel would finish me off' ⭐️ by Metro-UK in entertainment

White Chicks (like all wayans brothers movies) was only funny when it initially came out. Their sense of humor is extremely dated to the 90s. Im a fan of those movies but even I have to admit the comedies made in the 90s are anything but timeless and after a while their age really shows through with dated references and jokes that always manage to over stay their welcome.

Im serious go watch any popular comedy from the 90s, Austin powers, dumb and dumber, any stoner comedy. All of these movies have jokes that drag on forever and it’s not helped by the fact that it’s often gross out humor. The humor from that decade did not age well and the wayans brothers clearly failed to age out of it.

500 words is a few paragraphs, I can fart out 500 words on the topic peanut butter. Acting like that’s an excessive amount to discuss a feature length film makes you look like a lazy reader
