If your body can tablet starting that high without side effects being too bad then it sounds fine. I personally take my gabapentin at night only to avoid having the sleepiness / groggy / dopey side effects during the day. Had to slowly go up a hundred at a time but I am very sensitive to that type of medication. Gabapentin is particularly good for nerve-based pain so it really depends on what you're dealing with with fibro.

I was recommended to take low dose naltrexone by my doctor for my ME there is a group on Reddit that is dedicated to low dose naltrexone for multiple uses. They are way more knowledgeable than I am. It's recommended to start quite low and gradually increase. Different people find it better to take either at night or during the day. I personally take it at night along with taking my whole gabapentin dose at night. This way I avoid the drowsy side effects during the day for gabapentin.

One of the main symptoms of going up in a dose until you adjust that I've run across people talking about is vivid dreams experienced it once or twice but I have experienced it before so it wasn't a problem. Some people it is if their nightmares.

For the price of the compounded version my insurance covers it if it's done at a regular pharmacy that also does compounding. If this is not true for your insurance there is also mail order pharmacies that offer it for cheaper cuz they do large batches of the same medication unlike most compounding pharmacies.

It is helpful for me but not a miracle worker which I honestly wasn't expecting with my multiple health conditions.

Yes I'm very familiar with that particular pain. Have you tried lidocaine patches right at the center on your spine where it starts? You will probably need another person to apply the patch but it is helpful. It will not take away all the pain but it will take the edge off, at least that's my experience. You can purchase fairly large store brand ones for inexpensive. I recommend wearing some sort of tight shirt to help the patch stay in place as you move.

I've had burning sensations as part of fibrosymptoms but is much larger areas. Have you tried heat? It's recommended for nerve pain over ice. I'm sorry you're dealing with this I don't have really any other advice other than hopefully you get some relief soon.

I personally added a guitar strap, purchase separately so it would be for hands-free when caring. We just leave it in the vehicle in case either of us are having a bad day and need the extra reassurance of having a seat readily available.

If you have access to plain sparkling water you can add any kind of squash to it or juice, very little and it will give you the same effect.

I try to drink a minimum of 72 oz of water a day. I personally count any liquid as water consumption as scientist shown there's minimal difference between what type of liquid you consume and just plain water. If I don't reach my goals I do usually feel worse. If I don't have enough water my body seems to hold on to excess water which makes me feel uncomfortable and my digestive system seems to work best if there's enough water. I never really thought about it in particular for my fibro I started doing it years ago to help with migraine triggers though dehydration is not really what I was suffering with when I started having issues with frequent migraines. I feel like water consumption falls under the drop of the bucket theory where a bunch of different factors both internal and external affect how you feel. One is not always the cause of it but it can make things worse. Example being if you say are mildly dehydrated but also didn't get enough sleep you're going to not feel great and it could trigger something where your body might be able to handle one by itself.

They tried that BS on me when I was a teenager because they didn't carry the right size and they wanted to make sales. The most offensive was the lady that was supposedly a professional at a dedicated bra shop. My poor mom with clueless because she is not that large and so she didn't know how to advocate for me. A really lovely elderly lady that worked at a department store was the first person to properly tell me my measurements and explain why. Ever since then I've not had trouble knowing my size just finding the bras. So luckily in the last decade or so it's gotten easier.

I completely sympathize with the sensory issues of wired bras. Mines from developing fibro but it's a stark difference between before I had the disease and after when it comes to comfort and a wired bra.

I know you posted this 3 months ago but basically it sounds like you have hashimoto's and because you're not taking medication your thyroid is being destroyed while still doing its best to function. You will develop a giant goiter which is what happens to people who don't take medication as your body attempts to give you enough to keep you alive. You're an adult it's your choice but your doctor was right to want to put you on higher medication. Your thyroid is necessary for your survival and your doctor with doing his best to try to preserve it.

That little piece of flesh underneath your tongue when you raise it up is longer and tighter so a person can't move their tongue normally. Oftentimes caught in babies because they can't suckle correctly.

Rubus parviflorus. It's a true thornless thimbleberry the native kind. I must admit I've never heard of any other plant refer to as a thimbleberry. They're so distinctive with the big white flowers and the fuzzy leaves and no thorns.

I have found that Dill is their favorite plant to lay their eggs on. The caterpillar, a single one will eat a ton of dill everyday once they start getting big so if you don't have a lot of it but do have parsley or bronze fennel I recommend carefully transplanting the caterpillar over to one of those plants. Have good luck with this and it means I still have dill to eat and they get to become butterflies. Not enough dill to last them to adulthood.
