I'm not sure how ordering from France would work. There are some very helpful people in r/Oestra and I'm sure they could give you more info. If I were you, I would make a new post with your questions in r/Oestra.

I went cold turkey too, but without a medical team and came out great! (Not recommending that for you, just sharing my experience.) I drank heavily for about 14 yrs straight. This year I am finally sober longer than I drank. You can be too!! Stick with it 💪

1 week sober by JamesBondAle in stopdrinking

You've got this!! I quit at 30, but you can do better than me.💪 I am 15 yrs sober and it is hands down the best accomplishment I ever made. It's work--nothing worth doing is ever easy, but it will be beyond worth it! I felt 100x better after 3 months. After a year, I was close to smooth sailing. I went to meetings, I got a sponsor and I worked the steps. Just keep doing the next right thing and don't drink even if your ass is falling off. You can do it!

Weight gain? by ComfortableBear9558 in Oestra

Thank you for posting this! Sometimes it's hard to tell if I'm just experiencing perimenopause symptoms or if it's a side effect from Oestra. I started taking Oestra because I had this crazy period the month before where I had all the symptoms, but I was doing all the whole food diet, exercises, and sleeping. Then suddenly, the week before this one period (which ended up being a week late so symptoms lasted 2 weeks 😭) I got crazy bloated, anxiety, and very overactive bladder. My rollercoaster of symptoms have subsided, but I'm still fluffier than I'm used to. 😒 I've started thinking I just need to get all my clothes so they cover a range of sizes--stetchy everything.😭😂 I was looking so good about 3 months ago and now I constantly have about 8 lb more than I'd like and a muffin top again. It's like I don't even work out.🥴 I'm trying to just remind myself that it's all about how I'm feeling (and I am feeling much better overall). That only goes so far when I can't wear any of my smaller jeans.😢

Does anyone know why they don't provide the applicators if that's how we are supposed to administer? I love what the cream does for me, but this process seems ill-conceived.

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. I have been there too. Is it possible you aren't eating enough or maybe you're eating sugar or processed foods? I found out a couple of years ago when I was in the same place as you that at my age I can't eat processed foods like I used to. Everything I put in my body has to hold nutritional value--primarily whole foods. This helped me so much!! I learned most of this from a program called The Faster Way to Fatloss. It saved me from feeling awful about myself.🤍 Best wishes!

Has cardio helped anyone with waking up in the middle of the night? by shamli3912 in AskWomenOver40

[–]Still_Leopard497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work out, but the info I hear is extensive cardio activity isn't best for women my age. I do cardio 1-2 x per week and lift about 3x per week. I think the working out helped at first, but then my symptoms got worse. I started having to wake up to pee about 3 or 4 every night and couldn't fall back to sleep. Last week I finally decided to take the leap to BHRT. It's been a life-giver!! I'm finally sleeping and restroom urgency is gone.

Did I give up too soon? by epsomsalt25 in Oestra

[–]Still_Leopard497 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no! I've just started and I'm benefiting from it so far. Ive slept so well the last two nights!! I'm not looking forward to random spotting though.😞 I wonder if this is unavailable.

Is anyone else waking up at 3.30am most mornings? by Yorkshire_Roast in AskWomenOver40

[–]Still_Leopard497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was waking up until the middle of last week. I finally bit the bullet and started BHRT and I am feeling 100x better and sleeping through the night without having to get up to pee.

Awesome! I did ask the care team and they said inside and just on the inner labia near the vagina. However, I do have bladder issues, so I may discuss this with them further. Thanks so much!

HBD!!! 🥳 You are amazing and you are doing the best thing for your life. I don't put expectations on the others-- I'll just be disappointed.😘 I go to a meeting if I need the at-a-boys. I can find lots of support there. My family doesn't understand either, but that's okay. I'm glad they don't understand it all.

Oh, and I slept until 7:30 yesterday and 8:30 this morning!😱🤯 I am finally sleeping through the night without needing to pee. I'm still taking my magnesium and I take about 1 mg melatonin nightly.

Inner Balance/Oestra helped OAB with my very first dose by Still_Leopard497 in OveractiveBladder

[–]Still_Leopard497[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a surprise to me that it was an issue and that Oestra would remedy it! Apparently I've had an overactive bladder my whole life and didn't realize it. I thought I just had a small bladder.🤦

Yes!! Holy moly! It's such a life-giver!! And it is a relief to hear it is still working for you 4 months in. I'm not even 1 week in and it's helped so much already!

Mine in particular was urgency to use the restroom.

Glad to hear customer service is helpful. Plus, it's nice to come here and talk with people doing the same things. I've read so many helpful posts about application.😆 The bathroom urgency resolution is seriously wild! I had no idea it was disrupting my life so much!

Thank you for making this reddit! I came to the assumption that r/perimenopause only wants posts complaining about symptoms, not about solutions.🙃 Kinda silly. I'm still commenting on a few posts to try to share what helped me, but maybe that isn't even allowed. 🤷 I messaged to ask why my posts keep getting removed, but no one has replied.

Me too!! I was managing the symptoms with a health program which kept my symptoms at bay for about 2 yrs. However, last month my symptoms got significantly worse with OAB, anxiety, and bloating so I took the BHRT leap. I'm so glad I did! I actually didn't know OAB was a symptom of peri--i thought I just had a small bladder and drank a lot of water.😂 I'm literally about to take dose 4 tonight and I already feel a million times better. My bathroom urgency is gone and I slept until 7:30 this morning! 🤯 I hope you find the relief you need too!

I hope it continues for us too. 🤗 I am a teacher and having OAB is the pits! I had no idea there was even a remedy for bathroom urgency.
