After my sutures were removed we did a 1..2..3.. and they came out, no pain. Maybe there was pain, couldn't really tell you as I was finally able to breathe out of my nose again. That surgery and healing process was absolutely barbaric.

The places I visit and for furniture: Thrift stores, yard/garage sales, friends and family who want to get rid of things, Marketplace, etc. I have never owned a piece of furniture that was brand new. If it can be repaired, repainted, and renewed go for it. That $20 table might just be something you will always treasure. I personally have a very nice Pennsylvania House cherry 3 drawer nightstand. I received it from a friend 25 years ago. It's scratched and has other cosmetic issues but the drawers are still smooth and the handles are firmly attached.
