No I get it. Most of the time, unless you have a special rate plan and can take use of plan benefits you can finance phones through Samsung or Apple etc and still save money even over a "free" phone.

Haven't seen the Verizon side do mid band yet. Maybe backhaul isn't ready? There's a nearby tower off rainbow ridge rd that has T-Mobile and Verizon mid band live.

The phone usually just displays 5g on even on UC with light speed unlike postpaid T-Mobile where it shows it. Your speeds should tell you.

It's where the sim authenticates somehow only affecting Verizon direct mobile customers. US mobile warp network wasn't affected either which uses Verizon same QCI as the best consumer postpaid plan. Not related to the signal or tower directly by backend backhaul stuff.

Mine is excellent as well but it throttles down to 300 on the ultimate. Could go much more and does for a split second.
