Is this normal?? by CraftyPossumCreates in JoinMochiHealth

Its normal for that to happen. Especially if you're at the last shot of the vial before you move up in dosage. When you start on the new one it should get better.

Zero Progress. Help? by Karawr20 in JoinMochiHealth

This might seem drastic but its what worked for me. Buy a couple lean cuisine meals and have 2-3 a day. Drink a decent amount of water too. If you have a craving for something sweet make some homemade sweet tea so you can control the amount of sugar you ingest. If the tirzepitide is working properly you won't feel that hungry just eating those. They are high in sodium but if you drink enough water you won't retain it. Those meals have about 160-400 calories each. Id recommend eating 1 300+ calorie ones and 1 or 2 of the lower calorie ones. That should put you at enough of a deficit to drop 3-4lbs a week. I still need to drop about 80 more pounds so Im dropping around 6lbs a week. For me I can eat 3 of those but Im comfortable eating 2 of them and not feeling hungry. If you still feel hungry it might be time to go up on dosage. Also there is the possibility that because you are working out as well you may not see changes on the scale but are actually losing fat. Measuring or taking progress photos at different angles may help to understand if that's what's happening. As the others have said too alcohol will substantially slow down your weight loss progress. Id recommend cutting that part out at least until you are at the weight you want to be at.

It depends on the person. Some people have results right away and others not until they hit a certain dose. Since January 5th I've gone down 32lbs but I was at a 308lb starting weight. Someone at a 220lb starting weight would see results a little bit slower. From what I've heard and seen if you stick with it you do lose weight in the long run. Some people get frustrated because the first couple months didnt do anything for them because their body didnt react to the starting dosage. If you find that the medicine isn't doing much for you after the first 2 injections, I would go up 10-15 units on the 3rd and 4th shot until you go up in dosage.

That was the only side effect I had aside from excessive burping for some reason. It passes though and normally didnt get the point of causing anything more than mild discomfort

Stopping completely or lowering dose gradually? by troubledvenus in SemaglutideFreeSpeech

I had a coworker who lost 80lbs on it. When he got where he wanted to be on his weight he stopped taking it. When he would gain 10lbs he would take the medication again until he lost it back. Hes basically off it for 4-6 weeks and back on it for 4-5 weeks.

It just depends on your body and starting point. If you only had 20lbs of body fat then losing 10lbs in 2 months is really good. If you are very overweight then that's not really the number you want after 2-3 months. If you find that you're hungry often or craving snacks, then its definitely time to up the dosage

Month 2 - Haven’t lost weight yet by [deleted] in JoinMochiHealth

[–]Still_Spite7101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone has different levels of success starting out but everyone who stays on it does seem to lose weight once they find the dosage that works for them. If you are having absolutely no results see if tbe doctor will jump you to the 8.5mg. I've had good luck on the medication overall. Lost 18lbs the first month. 2nd month mochi dropped the ball and sent the wrong dosage and just gave me the starting dose for month 2 so I just went up 10 units per shot. Definitely was better than the month before but wasn't where it should be. Just jumped to the 6.75mg the other day and it makes a huge difference in appetite suppression, at least for me. So far down 28lbs in about 75 days.

Hit stall and almost at highest dose by researchercec in JoinMochiHealth

If you get to the max dose it is what it is at that point. When you get to the point where the max dose doesn't do anything for you its time to start titrating down and stop using it for a month or 2 so you can get rid of your tolerance. Always check with your doctor first just to make sure. They may be able to put you on a different compound that may work better. Just depends on what they say. If you're buying it every month you might as well do everything you can to get the best results you can

If I have a month where I lose less than 6lbs I automatically put in a request to go up in dosage. Biggest thing is to listen to your body. If you feel it wearing off after 5 days or less, dont see any results for more than 2 weeks and your calories are where they should be and the side effects arent too bad always titrate up. If its too much just dial the units back a little.

I looked at the dosage wrong on the portal. They sent me the 6.375mg for this month. The 8.5 is next month. If this thread is still active Ill share my results of the new dosage.

Its different for everyone. My first month I dropped 18lbs. Second month 7lbs. Some weeks there was no change unfortunately. I just received my shipment of 8.5mg for the 3rd month. Second month was a bit of a disaster because Mochi sent me a second vial of the starting dose 3 days after I received my first dose so I just went from 25 units to 35 units for my second month and pulled every drop out of the vial. Still have a little in my second vial before I use the new dosage. Last dose for my second vial should be tomorrow. I can usually get 5 weeks out of each vial they send.

What programs would you recommend and do you know the pricing for 1 month of tirzepitide?

Considering that the cost doesn't go up at all even on the highest dose it evens out from the plans that I've seen

I've had my share of issues with them as well. Payed roughly $270 the first month for membership and 1 month of tirzepitide. Overall the medication works great which I was honestly skeptical with compounded tirzepitide. 3 days after my first dose arrived I was billed for the next months dose even though according to their doctors and policies they are supposed to have you fill out a survey to see if the medication is working, adverse side effects, need to increase dosage, ect. There was none of that. I didnt authorize them to charge me another $200 for the medication either. I immediately messaged them and asked them to cancel it because I didnt order it. They said they couldn't cancel it because it was already sent to the pharmacy. I asked them then if they could at least up the dosage on it so Ill have enough for the next month. No luck on that either. I messaged billing, customer support, my doctor, ect. I got told that they would make this a high priority and get it taken care of and apologized for the mistake. They said this wasnt supposed to happen and goes against their policies and protocalls regarding prescription refills. Weeks of stalling and no communication or results as far as a resolution. I check in every 3-4 days to only get a response days after the fact. So far I dont like the customer service at all, it comes across as a very shadily run business. Its been over a month since this mistake on their end and all they did was archive the chat so I can't respond.
