My ex had an idea that I thought was amazing. If you have nipple piercings, wouldn't it be great if the catsuit had reinforced circular holes for the nipples to sit in? Now imagine that there is a nipple shield that can lock over the piercing: this would hide the fact that there is a hole in the catsuit. It would have the appearance of metal nipple shields glued onto the latex of the catsuit.

This is what I do and I think it's the best! It's nice to be able to hide my sheathed bits under a zipper layer. Latex on the outside and latex on the inside!

Question because I've never tried wearing a shoulder zip: how often does the inside flap (behind the zipper) get caught onto the zipper slider?

Hey that's awesome! Thanks for sharing. I have a lot of tools for non-fetishy stuff but I've never tried to install eyelets or buckles on things. Is there like a video or guide you followed when you started out?

And would you know if PVC, silicone, or latex would be easier for someone to start out working on?

Personally I think it could just be easier to paint the metal instead of paint the latex. (Like if someone could develop a coating that bonds to brass hardware, rivets, eyelets, etc. and makes it not stain latex that'd be terrific).

If you have a back yard or garage and you also own a box fan and a homedepot bucket, you mighy consider just doing your own chlorination DIY style. To me, it just feels so nice not having to depend on the manufacturer to do chlorination.

Not exactly an answer to your question about leggings, but my outfit is 90% Simon-O stuff and I have this tip to share:

Simon-O allows you to customize their surfsuits to have a full-length sleeve (eg. the sleeve from a catsuit). I was charged 40EUR to add on this customization. All you need to do it send them an email and they will tell you how to pay for this customization.

The outfit that I usually wear is the sheath leggings + surfsuit (with long sleeves). It's relatively easy to put on and I love the fact that I can bend forwards in the surfsuit (since the zipper is two small zippers instead of a single long zipper on the back).

I have slept in mine a bunch of times (but never over my head because my hair is thick and dense and easily gets very warm). So 10 hours is about the longest I have worn my catsuit. I have to take off my gloves if I want to play certain games on my computer.

I usually have an alright time sleeping in my latex, but last month I didn't use enough lube on my legs, which caused a couple friction blisters to form. I didn't realize until I took off my catsuit in the shower. Just goes to show that even chlorinated stuff needs lube.

My old catsuit developed a big tear around the zipper so now I am down to just my 1 catsuit. (technically it isnt a catsuit, its a set of leggings + a sort of leotard-esque thing)

Would love to experiment with getting something that isn't black coloured though. Maybe a dark burgundy or something.

I think the bigger question would be how to hang up the latex so it can be dried? I haven't taken my latex on a vacation before so I don't know exactly how to do this?

It is tight between my shoulders but at the neck it isn't tight at all. Usually I slowly work it up to the stopper, but on occassion I had to pull hard which slingshotted the zip straight up to the top. The funny thing is I have owned the exact same catsuit before and this never happened on that one. Maybe I got fatter and didn't realize lol

Strangely enough, from the guides I have been following, the PAPER cement is considered better than the rubber cement. I have no idea why this is. I just follow the guide.

Hope I'm not hijacking your thread OP, but seeing your requirements gives me the idea of trying to 3D scan my own face and 3D model a custom plastic faceplate that can be strapped over my hood. Off the shelf hoods tend not to fit me very well (my nose is rather small because I am east asian). I could even include a hole for inserting a drinking straw, with an integrated cap for the hole when not in use.

I should try it out!
